Yesterday afternoon, a jihadist in a rental truck plowed through pedestrians and cyclists on a bike path in New York City, killing eight people and injuring at least 15 more. The attack happened just blocks from the World Trade Center memorial and is New York’s worst terrorist attack since 9/11. The response so far has been that New Yorkers must move on and not succumb to fear because that would mean victory for the terrorists.
