Host Dennis Leap discusses why King Richard attacks his uncle, John of Gaunt, and his cousin, Bolingbroke. King Richard was responsible for the execution of his uncle, Thomas, duke of Gloucester. John of Gaunt and Bolingbroke knew this, and they also knew Richard paid Thomas Mowbray to do the deed. To protect himself, King Richard set up a sham fight between Bolingbroke and Mowbray. He banished Bolingbroke from England for six years; Mowbray was banished for life. After Bolingbroke left England, King Richard taunts his Uncle John on his deathbed. After John’s death, Richard took over his lands and wealth to support his war with the Irish.

United States Secretary of State John Kerry said in an interview yesterday that he believes some of Iran’s unfrozen money from sanctions “will end up in the hands of the [Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps].” As Iran begins to budget its new sanctions-relief money for terrorism, France is extending its nationwide state of emergency so it can keep fighting the Islamic State terror group. And, as if the region isn’t chaotic enough, the nation now calling the shots in the Middle East—Russia—is led by a man whom Britain believes personally approved the murder of an ex-Russian spy living on British soil. A task force organized by Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel published its report this week about how to improve relations between police and residents. The report blamed racism as the key cause of the city’s problems. Chicago police have “no regard for the sanctity of life when it comes to people of color,” it said. Is racism really the core problem here? Or is this report another attempt to undermine police authority?


Russian aircraft taunted a United States Navy vessel this week, conducting attack-like maneuverers and flying within 90 feet of the ship. The U.S. strongly condemned the provocative move by carefully noting that it was “entirely inconsistent” with professional norms. However, that was all the U.S. did in response. Just what will it take to actually upset America?


A television program recently aired in the United Kingdom highlighting the dangerous attitudes many Muslims harbor against the UK. The show reveals how multiculturalism has failed in Britain and has actually led to the creation of micro-nations run by Islamic law within the country. Where is this dangerous trend leading, and why are so few willing to speak up about it?

Tensions along Israel’s borders are running high. Hamas has fired more than 140 rockets from Gaza into southern Israel over the weekend, and on Saturday four Israeli soldiers were injured after militants from Gaza hit their patrol jeep with an anti-tank missile. Yesterday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “The world must understand that Israel will not sit idly in the face of attempts to attack us …. We are prepared to intensify the response.”
