President Donald Trump seems committed to negotiating a deal with Iran. A June 3 Wall Street Journal article claimed, “President Trump has told aides privately that he would consider ending the ceasefire with Iran if Tehran kills American troops,” but he says “the weekslong pause in air strikes remains intact despite a steady stream of violent skirmishes.” He consistently says he wants a deal where Iran never has a nuclear weapon, the Strait of Hormuz is open for world trade, and the wider war, including the war between Israel and Hezbollah, is over.

To President Trump’s credit, he has shown much more resolve in facing Iran with force than previous presidents, especially President Barack Obama. He has recognized Iran’s nuclear threat and has had the boldness to confront it.

But now, the war is at a stalemate. President Trump has found that America’s military cannot defeat Iran.

Letters

I like people like Gerald Flurry, who put insight into the Scriptures.

Thanks for this teaching! Great topic that we definitely all need to know and determine when that is.

I refer to your recent letter welcoming me as a new co-worker and laborer with the Philadelphia Church of God. I’d just like to say how honored and privileged I feel to be considered in such a way, and hope to continue to support God’s Work diligently through prayer and financially into the future.

I would just like to say that I am so impressed with the message that I am reading in this booklet. It is helping me to deepen my understanding of the Bible and is a joy to read. The doctrine is very inspirational, helping me to build a desire to learn more. Many thanks.

I love what you people are doing. I very much wanted to go to Tampa to hear Mr. Flurry, but I didn’t have a ride, but I love your material. I was a Seventh Day Baptist when I was younger, and I am so glad that I found people who keep the Ten Commandments.

The U.S. Constitution Is Over 95 Percent Destroyed!
A fanatical statement? Our Founding Fathers prophesied it would happen if our “religion and private morality” grossly degenerated. That has happened. Still, almost nobody heeds the warning of the Founding Fathers. That lack of response reveals how little the Constitution means to us.

A Mysterious Prophecy
Are the Psalms only a book of charming poetry? Psalm 83 of the Bible is an end-time prophecy of Germany allying with several moderate Arab nations. It shows that these nations are about to get control of the Middle East! What they do after that is going to be the ultimate shock to America, Britain and the Jewish nation.

The Last Crusade
Most people think the crusades for Jerusalem are a thing of the past—over forever. They are wrong. Preparations are being made for a final crusade, and it will be the bloodiest of all! The exceedingly good news is this: The world will never again see a bloody crusade for Jerusalem. And nothing is more important than your understanding why!

Malachi’s Message
This is a story about God’s Church gone off track and what God did to correct the tragedy.
Herbert W. Armstrong founded the Worldwide Church of God in 1934 (though it began with a different name) and led it for over 51 years to its height in membership, global impact and income at the time of his death in 1986.
Soon, however, disturbing and significant changes in Church doctrine began to be introduced. The changes revealed a diversion in course, one that led to catastrophe.
