More ‘Twitter Files,’ More Proof of Leftist Collusion
New Twitter owner Elon Musk released two more batches of internal memos, on December 9 and 10, revolving around the banning of United States President Donald Trump. Two previous releases exposed Twitter’s censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop affair and privy blacklisting of prominent conservatives.
Social media famously banned Trump from their platforms in the aftermath of the Jan. 6, 2021, protests. Part 3 of the “Twitter Files,” released in corroboration with investigative journalist Matt Taibbi, shows Twitter was eyeing Trump’s tweets months before January 6. Most concerning, they were even in discussions with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Homeland Security to detect “misinfo.” Keep in mind that President Trump at this point was the fbi’s and dhs’s boss.
The fbi specifically was contacting Twitter on tweets claiming election fraud. The fbi wanted the tweets countered. At least one of the tweets the fbi was concerned about “was deemed no [violation] on numerous occasions.”
The next batch of the “Twitter Files” were released the following day—this time by author Michael Shellenberger. According to his files, Twitter’s then ceo Jack Dorsey was on vacation in French Polynesia when Michelle Obama asked Twitter to ban President Trump. He assigned Twitter global head of Trust and Safety Yoel Roth to tackle the problem. Roth seems to have been the driving force to ban Trump. An e-mail from Jan. 7, 2021, implies Roth and other “people” weren’t happy with Dorsey “dragging his feet” in going after Trump.
Twitter changed its own standards to find an excuse to ban Trump. The messages show they were looking for “any” policy violation to ban Trump for.
This is government censorship and a violation of the United States Constitution’s First Amendment. And none of this would have seen the light of day if a maverick billionaire hadn’t intervened.
Such abuses of power in high places may be surprising, but this is only the tip of the iceberg. America’s corruption goes far deeper than most realize. Read Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry’s book America Under Attack.
