Europe and China Are Growing Closer
European and Chinese leaders are laying the groundwork to join their two massive economies.
Thierry Breton, European commissioner for the Internal Market of the European Union, met with Chinese Vice Premier Zhang Guoqing in Beijing on November 10 to strengthen relations between the two sides. The meeting came ahead of a major EU-China summit to be held on December 7 and 8 in Beijing, which analysts say could bring bilateral trade to unprecedented levels.
Though Breton acknowledged China as a “systemic rival” to Europe, he expressed a desire to strengthen ties “in the new geopolitics of supply chains.”
He described his meeting with Zhang as “constructive” and “tense on some issues.” But he stressed that “it was very good to reengage” with the Chinese after the difficult covid era.
Mart of nations: The Bible prophesies that America’s global dominance will be challenged by an alliance between European states and China. By understanding the biblical names of modern powers (see The United States and Britain in Prophecy), prophecies in Deuteronomy 28, Isaiah 23 and Ezekiel 4 and 27 prove that a German-led Europe will soon ally with Asia to form an economic siege against the United States, United Kingdom and the nation of Israel.
Ezekiel 4:5-6 and Hosea 5:5 show that sieges on the U.S., UK and Israel will precede a European invasion. The blossoming European-Chinese relationship means the fulfillment of these prophecies is imminent.
