Putin and Xi Strengthen the Russia-China Axis

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese General Secretary Xi Jinping held talks in Beijing on October 18. The two dictators referred to each other as dear friends and lambasted the United States as they portrayed their duo as building a “fairer, multipolar world.”

The talks came as Xi led the Belt and Road Forum with mostly developing nations. The conference was focused on China’s main foreign-policy initiative, which aims to build trillions of dollars’ worth of infrastructure to make the world more economically dependent on China.

This was a clear reference to attempts by America and its allies to pressure Russia and China, as well as their partners such as Iran and North Korea, with economic sanctions. Xi also said China and Russia must further coordinate their foreign policies in light of “current difficult conditions.”

Meanwhile, Putin said events such as the Israel-Hamas war are “shared threats that only strengthen Russo-Chinese relations.”

Kings of the east: Revelation 16:12 foretells of a multinational Asian alliance that will form in the modern era, called “the kings of the east.” The Scriptures say this Asian bloc will field an army of 200 million men and will play a major role in nuclear World War iii.

Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry has said that Russia will be the lead nation of this Asian confederacy, with China as its primary partner, and that the two are already fulfilling the early stages of these prophecies. In 2014, after China publicly backed Russia’s annexation of Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula, Mr. Flurry called the support “a stunning fulfillment of a biblical prophecy!”

He wrote:

When these Asian nations—extremely powerful nuclear-armed countries—begin to show solidarity with each other regarding moves like that, what does that portend for the world? I tell you it is woe to the world. It will cause many serious problems. …

Actually we have been proclaiming for over 50 years that Russia, China and other Asian nations would ally themselves in the end time. And we are in that end time now.
