When Health Policies Become Psychological Warfare

We are seeing a dangerous cycle that weakens the mind and makes it susceptible to deceit.

The German Health Ministry is declaring meat, sweets, salt and even the weather as dangerous—demanding not just personal responsibility but state intervention. At the same time, drugs are being legalized.

We are seeing a two-fold attack similar to the one during covid-19. On the one hand, state propaganda causes the masses to follow government advice like sheep. On the other hand, the advice weakens the minds of citizens to make them even more gullible.

Climate Change

Right now, state media is bombarding Germans with a frontal attack. Weather maps on public television are covered in red, indicating increased heat for temperatures that used to be marked as mild. Towns and villages are deemed unprepared. The government issues warning after warning. Some recommendations are based on common sense, such as drinking water. Others are a health risk themselves.

One suggestion reads: “Only when it is cooler outside than in the apartment is ventilation recommended.”

Another states: “Strenuous activities are particularly stressful in the heat and should be avoided during the hottest part of the day between about 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.”

Meteorologist and presenter Jörg Kachelmann called the advice “assisted suicide.” The tips come “from people who have no idea that temperature and ozone are worse in the evening and who live in palaces with so much space during the day that if you close everything and breathe, you won’t die,” he wrote on July 8.

Even more concerning than the potential risks is the source of the recommendations: Karl Lauterbach. Before becoming Germany’s health minister, he was a strong advocate of strict coronavirus lockdowns and massive vaccination campaigns. His medical background gave him additional credibility. Time proved these interventions were detrimental, sickening society mentally and physically. For example, the World Health Organization reported a 25 percent increase in anxiety and depression in the first year of the pandemic. Heat lockdowns could have similar effects, and the people most likely to believe the propaganda are the most vulnerable.

During the coronavirus lockdowns, the elderly were locked up with the strongest propaganda tool at the state’s disposal: television. Many senior citizens have come to believe every government message. Fear causes people to blindly follow directions and reject independent thinking.

A 2017 study of 17 European countries, plus Israel and Turkey, revealed that Germans were the most worried about climate change, causing them to elect the Green Party in 2021. Since Russia’s war on Ukraine, some have regretted this, wishing they had focused more on defense. Still millions continue to support the economy-destroying policies because they trust their government more than common sense. Nature wrote in April:

Based on a survey experiment fielded in Germany in 2022, we find that the economic implications of the Russian-Ukrainian War do not decrease behavioral willingness, while restrictions of civil liberties to combat the covid-19 pandemic lead to higher climate support, underpinning the crisis-as-opportunity perspective. Willingness to support climate measures is strongest among 1) those most concerned about climate change, and 2) those who trust the government.

While it is true that mankind has polluted our planet, there are no scientific indications that carbon dioxide emissions will lead to the predicted apocalyptic scenarios. Yet people are forced to focus on this one point. The constant propaganda leaves the population susceptible to deceit.

Reducing Meat Consumption

Another government talking point is the reduction of meat, which already dropped in 2022 to the lowest figure since calculations began in 1989 in Germany. A recent survey showed that 55 percent of German consumers describe themselves as flexitarian, the highest level in Europe. Still, Lauterbach believes meat consumption is too high and “completely unreasonable,” even “bordering on the delusional.”

Lauterbach, who has refrained from eating meat for more than 30 years, recommends abstention or at least reduction for everyone else. He told Der Spiegel in 2022: “In the long term, we could reduce meat consumption by 80 percent—not just in Germany, but worldwide.” He also asked, “What is the point of cruelty to animals so that we can eat unhealthy food and ruin the climate in the process?”

In other words, if you eat meat, you finance animal cruelty, ruin your health, and destroy the climate.

There are some legitimate concerns about how animals are treated, but the attack is on the consumption of meat in general.

Legalizing Cannabis

Germany’s Health Ministry seeks to prohibit smoking in a car with small children or pregnant women, but it is also seeking to legalize cannabis.

“We want to decriminalize the use of cannabis in order to achieve better protection for children and young people, but also better health protection,” Lauterbach said at a press conference in 2022.

The new bill allows adults 18 and older to possess up to 25 grams of cannabis for personal use and cultivate a maximum of three plants. It prohibits consumption within a 200-meter radius of schools and other youth facilities between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Spiegel wrote:

The German Judges’ Association has published a statement saying that the “extremely small-scale law” will lead to more control effort, new disputes and many additional proceedings before the courts. So much for relieving the burden on the judiciary.

Presumably, it was a crazy idea from the start to entrust a health apostle like Lauterbach, of all people, who considers grilled meat and salted food to be murderously dangerous, with the release of drugs. Especially in a government that trusts people with so little personal responsibility that there are even to be advertising restrictions on sweets.

The attack ultimately, however, is on the mind.

The Bible teaches that our mind is open to outside influence (Ephesians 2:2). The weaker our mind is, the more susceptible we are to evil spiritual influences. The Bible is full of examples of demon possession. Even though it appears outdated to talk about, the demons who plagued individuals in the Bible are still around, and the use of drugs gives them an open door to your mind.

Our article “The Dangerous Rise of Demonism” explained:

Certain religious rituals are designed to let the mind go blank and allow a demon to take control. But far more common today are mind-altering drugs that break down the mind’s defenses and can allow in demons.

Dangerous Parallels

Dr. Robert Malone, inventor of mrna technology used in the coronavirus vaccines, compared our health policies today with what happened in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s. He said:

When you have a society that has become decoupled from each other and has free-floating anxiety and a sense that “things don’t make sense, we can’t understand it”—and then their attention gets focused by a leader or series of events on one small point—just like hypnosis, they literally become hypnotized, and can be led anywhere.

Psychological warfare is being waged.

Germany in the early 20th century worshipped knowledge and became a world champion of science. Much of that scientific research informs us today. Hitler condemned smoking and the consumption of too much meat and sweets, as does our society today. This doesn’t mean those who opposes smoking and sweets are Nazis, but the mixture of right and wrong makes the message more appealing and deceptive.

Satan the devil inspired Hitler. His goal has always been to deceive mankind (Revelation 12:9). He can do this more easily by first weakening the mind through physical and psychological matters.

Mankind is cut off from God’s revelation (Genesis 3:22-24). This gives Satan an open door to deceive mankind. 2 Corinthians 11:14 warns that Satan comes as an angel of light. He is mixing good with evil to appeal to a broader audience.

Dr. Malone warned about the deceit of a cunning leader that can exploit a hypnotized people. Daniel 8 reveals the rise of such a leader in Germany in the end time.

Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry notes in Nahum—An End-Time Prophecy for Germany:

Soon, Germany will be ruled by a man more cunning and deceitful than Adolf Hitler. “There is one come out of thee, that imagineth evil against the Lord, a wicked counseller” (verse 11). This wicked counselor literally means “a counselor of Belial.” Paul contrasts Belial with Christ (2 Corinthians 6:15). This being personifies all evil and is obviously motivated by Satan.

Just as Dr. Malone noted, we have “a society that has become decoupled from each other and has free-floating anxiety.” This provides an open door for such a leader to rise.

The book of Nahum contains God’s warning of love to the German people. He seeks to reach out to them in every possible way to warn them of the rise of this leader, of Satan’s deceitful tactics and of the looming destruction.

Everyone that heeds God’s warning message and breaks away from that deceit will be protected by God. This is God’s absolute promise and part of His plan to bring all of mankind to salvation according to His perfect timing.
