Are Democrats Laundering Money?
A new video was released yesterday by James O’Keefe, raising questions regarding where Democrats are getting their funding. Based on Federal Election Commission (fec) data, some senior citizens have supposedly donated thousands of times per year. Some of these donations amounted to over $200,000.
All of the donations were made through ActBlue, a software company that allows individual contributors to give directly to their Democratic candidate, progressive group or left-leaning nonprofit of choice.
O’Keefe Media Group went to the addresses of these donors to ask them about the amounts. Among the people he questioned were:
- Michael Jamieson, who gave $31,282.70 in 3,040 separate contributions since 2020
- Cindy Nowe, $18,849.77 in 1,009 separate contributions since 2022
- Carolyn Lenz, $170,221.37 in 18,872 separate contributions since 2017
- Garland Briggs, $230,155.12 in 31,073 separate contributions since 2019
It appears that donations were made by these individuals—but in much smaller quantities. The fec data also showed contributions were made with various spellings of the name and address. It appears these people were used as a front to channel funds from elsewhere.
O’Keefe explained in the video that they received the data from a group of citizen journalists called Election Watch in Maryland. He said, “The Gibson Group and 2020 Watch have submitted a lawsuit to the U.S. District Court of Maryland regarding this grievance.” The corruption runs far deeper than the state of Maryland; one lawsuit won’t be able to stop it.
