Germany Going Underground

Angela Merkel recently retired as chancellor of Germany. She made some statements that ought to shake the nations if they understood German history! To most people, though, these comments will mean very little, if anything.

We have been prophesying for over 75 years about an event that Ms. Merkel discussed! This event will violently change the history of this world—for bad for a little while, then for good forever.

We must examine secular and biblical history to see what this means. It is a sign of what is about to happen to this world very soon. It is connected directly to the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

“Angela Merkel admitted she was ‘helpless’ to resist pressure from German business to support the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, Donald Tusk claimed at the weekend. ‘The decision to build Nord Stream 2 was Angela Merkel’s biggest mistake,’ said Mr. Tusk” (Telegraph, November 29). As president of the European Council, Mr. Tusk was the key figure in Brexit negotiations. He is a very important leader in Germany.

“Ms. Merkel has consistently defended the controversial gas pipeline in the face of intense opposition from the U.S. and Germany’s EU allies. But Mr. Tusk claimed she had told him privately that she had no choice because of the pressure she was under from German business leaders” (ibid). This will sound strange to many people, but it is one of the biggest secrets in the world. It fulfills Bible prophecy in an amazing way.

Merkel was “helpless” to resist German business leaders. What does that mean? Can we understand it? This is shocking if you know German history and Bible prophecy.

In a 1944 speech, German Gen. Carl-Heinrich von Stuelpnagel said:

No defeat is final. Defeats are simply lessons to be learned in preparation for the next and greater attack. … In the next world war, which should take place within 25 years, the same mistake should not be made. The principle adversary will be the United States, and the entire effort must be concentrated against this country from the beginning …. [O]ur defeat in the present war need not be considered except as an incident in the triumphal march of Germany toward conquest of the world.

His timing was off, but German leaders are still trying to fulfill this ambition! What was he talking about? Is America really Germany’s number one enemy today?

The Underground Beast

Here is a prophecy related to von Stuelpnagel’s prediction: “The beast that thou sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is” (Revelation 17:8).

Bottomless pit is not the best translation here. It is referring to a pit that goes on and on, as if no one can ever deal with the problem in that pit. After World War ii, Germany went underground. Its underground activity continues to this day. The beast “was, and is not, and yet is.” It appears to be gone, but it is just underground!

“And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space” (verse 10). Herbert W. Armstrong was on the scene declaring this very verse at the time of Adolf Hitler—the “one [who] is.” Hitler was the sixth head of the Holy Roman Empire. A seventh is coming—“the other is not yet come.” Thankfully, the seventh head will only “continue a short space”—he won’t last very long!

“And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast” (verses 12-13). Germany will lead 10 kings in Europe.

The good news: “These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful” (verse 14). God’s faithful people proclaim His warning message to the world: the Holy Roman Empire is rising one final time!

“For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled” (verse 17). Why would God use Germany to fulfill His will? He is concerned about our sins.

In a joint statement from February 1945, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill, U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt and Soviet leader Joseph Stalin pledged: “It is our inflexible purpose to destroy German militarism and Nazism and to ensure Germany will never again be able to disturb the peace of the world.” They didn’t even come close to fulfilling this goal. German industrialists simply went underground!

Stoking the Furnace of the Nazi War Machine

Lesson 3 of the 58-lesson Ambassador College Bible Correspondence Course (1965 version) states (emphasis mine throughout):

[In 1891,] leading German industrialists founded a society which they called the Pan German League. Its slogan was “Deutschland über alles!”—Germany over all. They utilized the trademark “Made in Germany” as proof of German superiority. Behind their commercial and business methods was a central, permanent strategy—with the goal of conquering the world! It was they who were largely responsible for inducing the Kaiser to enter World War i. It was they who were behind World War ii. Cooperating with the German militarists and the secret movement started by General [Erich] Ludendorff, who selected Adolph Hitler as his stooge and protégé, these same industrialists financed the Nazi movement and actually elevated Hitler to power. (Senator [Harley] Kilgore’s report to the Senate Military Affairs Committee calls attention to this fact.) Hitler was merely a tool. He was the rabble-rouser they needed to sway the masses of German people to get behind their fanatical plot for world rule.

You can prove through German history that Germany always wants to conquer the world! These industrialists knew that if they lost the war, they would just blame Hitler and be free to prepare for a third round. They have been preparing in the bottomless pit for nearly 80 years. No one has been able to clear the pit of this evil. They just keep right on coming! Only Jesus Christ will stop them.

From the beginning, German industrialists have led a double life. They secretly collaborated fully with the Nazis during and after World War ii. There is plenty of evidence of this. The plan was to establish factories for German companies like Krupp all over the world to finance World War iii.

German industrialists went underground on May 16, 1943—two years before the war ended. They saw a German defeat coming. Hitler got all the blame, but nobody suspects them. They are well-dressed businessmen, after all! The Nazi spirit lives!

“The most thoroughly organized secret government of modern history began to function—underground! Today, the Nazis are working feverishly on ultramodern weapons and other projects. In 1951 Dr. [Konrad] Adenauer, ex-chancellor of West Germany, admitted the presence of 134 former Nazis, who served under Hitler, in high echelons in his Bonn government” (ibid). Why did no prominent world leaders speak out against this at the time?

In 1996, the United States finally declassified a World War ii intelligence document detailing an August 1944 meeting between top German industrialists. Representatives of elite German companies like Krupp, Messerschmitt, Volkswagenwerks and Rheinmetall discussed a secret post-war plan to restore the Nazis to power. Nazis posed as technical experts for these companies. The public was shocked to learn about this, but the media didn’t report much on it, so people eventually forgot and went about their daily lives. German industrialists still support the German goal of world domination from World Wars i and ii! It is the same spirit.

Speedy Recovery

Today, the German economy is twice the size of Russia’s, which helped us defeat Germany in World War ii. That is quite an accomplishment in a short amount of time. How did they do it? German industries went underground before Germany was reduced to a pile of rubble. They were established all over the world and able to help the nation recover quickly. We were supposed to de-Nazify the nation but turned over this program to the Germans after just two years. They were trusted to de-Nazify themselves. What a farce!

Right after the war, only one man warned of round three. Very few listened. God revealed prophecy to him. Herbert W. Armstrong was scorned for questioning whether Germany had really been defeated: “We don’t understand German thoroughness. From the very start of World War ii, they have considered the possibility of losing this second round, as they did the first—and they have carefully, methodically planned, in such eventuality, the third round—World War iii!” (The World Tomorrow, May 9, 1945).

Remember, Angela Merkel had “no choice” but to follow the German industrialists. They have been powerful from the beginning. They put leaders in office. This is German history. Don’t blame me—history is staring us all in the face.

The rise of Germany will affect every person on the planet. The Bible prophesies about our “lovers,” the Assyrians, forsaking us (Ezekiel 23). Finally, a U.S. publication is noticing how anti-American Europe is becoming—refusing to take a side between the U.S. and China. For over 50 years, Mr. Armstrong warned of Germany betraying the U.S. in this end time!

Germany is pushing for a strong European Union army. Plenty of European nations won’t support Germany in this, which is why the European superpower must be pared down to the prophesied 10 kings of Revelation 17. Will they rise in 2022 or 2023? They are ready to rise now.
