Week in Review: French Generals Threaten a Coup, and Much More
Show Notes
- French generals and military leaders are essentially threatening a coup if the French government doesn’t take stronger measures to confront terrorism and radical Islam.
- U.S. President Joe Biden gave his first address to Congress, enumerating his accomplishments thus far and laying out a series of radical and expensive plans.
- Palestinian Authority leader Mahmoud Abbas canceled its first parliamentary vote since 2006—out of fear it would undercut his power. It’s a sign of radicalization within the Palestinian population.
- We also talk about Russia and India agreeing to high-level meetings, John Kerry leaking intelligence about Israel to Iran, an ballot recount of the 2020 presidential election in an Arizona county, Australia canceling “Belt and Road” deals with China, and China launching the core module of its own space station.
