EU—a Fraud From Its Beginning

Yet once again mountainous fraud is revealed by an EU audit.

It’s the season for the annual outing of massive European fraud.

Each year, dating from the fraudulent beginnings of this cloak for Germanic imperial ambitions, cemented in the Maastricht Treaty of 1992, the annual audit of the European Union’s books has revealed increasing fraud, currently reaching mammoth proportions. And each year the figures are swept under the plush rugs at the Union’s bloated headquarters in Brussels.

As one EU official mused, the only thing that changes in this yearly exposé of EU fraud is the year on the cover of the annual audit report.

Over the years, three whistle-blowers have sought to force EU officials to contend with this criminal misuse of funds. Each has been sacked for their trouble. And why would this not be the case? Founded upon a huge lie from its beginning, this most undemocratic of institutions thrives on subterfuge, blatant lying and deceit.

Any level-headed person would assume that EU technocrats, mindful that they operate in the midst of an accelerating, continent-wide financial crisis of immeasurable proportions, would pull their budgetary horns in. But, no! In its greatest year of crisis, EU fraud has reached record proportions.

The EU’s Court of Auditors reports that “3.7 percent of the EU’s €122 billion budget in 2010 was spent in error or against EU rules. … The combined error rate for payments for 2010 is 3.7 percent or €4.6 billion. … In the samples used by the Court of Auditors around 50 percent showed ‘errors.’ … It is the 17th year in a row the court has been unable to give the EU’s accounts an unqualified statement of assurance” (TheParliament.com, November 10).

Martin Callanan, leader of the UK’s Conservative members of the European Parliament, commented, “In the real world of business—or properly democratic politics—heads would roll. But not in Brussels, where this costly fiasco just carries on unchecked.”

One of the three whistle-blowers who, over the years, have had the courage to vocalize concern over the unbelievable scope of EU fraud, Marta Andreason, has since become an elected member of the European Parliament for the UK Independence Party. Of the current audit results she remarked, “Despite repeated assurances from the European Commission and pressure from the European Council, the way the EU makes payments from its budget is getting worse not better. This should send alarm bells ringing across member states’ governments.”

But it won’t.

German elites now largely have EU member nations just where they want them. None of the other 26 EU members dare cross Germany during a time of financial crisis, for they are now so dependent on Germany for their economic survival. To challenge EU fraud would be tantamount to throwing a spanner in the works of EU technocracy, which is substantially manned or influenced by German nationals.

It was the German philosopher Nietzsche who declared that people are better fed myths than the truth—that myths are better for the masses than absolutes.

Well, Europe has its biggest myth of all, the European Union, founded upon a lie as a cloak under which its elites have tenaciously pursued their Holy Roman imperialist vision. And small wonder the extent of the fraud when one really understands the nature of the spirit that leads this beastly institution.

“These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast … and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority” (Revelation 17:13; 13:2). “You are of your father the devil … When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (John 8:44).
