Harvard Students Justify Hamas Attack

More than 30 Harvard University student groups have blamed Israel for the Iran-backed attack on the Jewish state. “We, the undersigned student organizations, hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence,” these groups said in a joint statement published October 8.

At least 1,000 Israelis have died in the worst assault on Israel since the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Yet the Harvard statement claims that “the apartheid regime is the only one to blame.”

Ideological subversion: Some of the groups that signed the statement condemning Israel were Muslim and Palestinian organizations, but others were black and socialist organizations.

These non-Islamic organizations do not support Hamas because of a shared ideological outlook. Rather, they support Hamas because Islamists and leftists are building a common front against the United States and its allies, which includes the British Commonwealth and the State of Israel.

Radical leftists do not believe Islamists pose the greatest threat to world peace. They believe Anglo-American capitalism and Judeo-Christian morality are the greatest threats to world peace. So they cooperate with Islamists against Israel.

Prophecy says: Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry explains in America Under Attack that Bible passages like 2 Kings 14:26-27 predict the rise of a movement to “blot out the name of Israel from under heaven.” The Hamas terrorist group and its Iranian sponsors want to “blot out the name of Israel,” and so do the radical left. So expect voices like the ones coming from these 30 Harvard student groups to get louder until God raises up a temporary savior for Israel.
