Robert F. Kennedy: Barack Obama ‘Had to Make a Golden Handshake With the Devil’
Democratic presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. recently warned American journalist Bari Weiss that President Barack Obama “had to make a golden handshake with the devil” to make Big Pharma “part of the tribal structure of the Democratic Party.”
On June 21, Kennedy explained on Weiss’s podcast that the pharmaceutical industry has more lobbyists on Capitol Hill than there are senators, congressmen and Supreme Court justices combined. Democrats did not like these lobbyists until 2010 when Obama agreed to leave the pharmaceutical industry largely unregulated if it would support his signature Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
Political profits: Drug industry political action committees still give more money to Republicans than Democrats. But increasingly, these committees are supporting Obama’s uniparty and opposing Donald Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement.
Trump has often repeated the claim that vaccines may cause autism, so pharmaceutical executives know their future lies with the party of Obamacare and mandatory covid-19 vaccines. This is why Robert Kennedy—the nephew of President John F. Kennedy and one of the few moderate Democrats left—is warning that Big Pharma is now becoming integrated into “the tribal structure of the Democratic Party.”
