Russian Missiles Cause Enormous Explosion in Pavlohrad, Ukraine

Russia launched a barrage of 18 missiles at Ukraine on May 1, with three evading Ukraine’s air defense systems. One struck what is believed to have been a chemical plant in the city of Pavlohrad that triggered a massive secondary detonation, destroying dozens of residential buildings and injuring dozens. The attack marked the second devastating Russian strike on Ukraine in the past several days, with a missile on April 28 having killed more than 20 civilians, including four children.

Serhiy Lysak of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Military Administration said the strike and resulting fires destroyed 19 high-rise buildings, 25 houses, six schools and preschools, and five shops.

Russia claims the target it hit in Pavlohrad was a depot where Ukraine was storing ammunition and fuel in preparation for a planned counteroffensive against Russian forces. Russia says that the strike will impede Ukraine’s plans.

I think that considering the fact that the 46th brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces was refitted in Pavlohrad, with the main reserves of fuel products and supplies being there, they will most likely face logistics problems with supply of all required for combat actions now.

The Trumpet said: Editor in chief Gerald Flurry wrote about Russia’s invasion on Feb. 25, 2022, the day after it started, stating: “I have been warning for more than two decades that Vladimir Putin would be responsible for violent conquests and that he would set in motion some astonishing and historic events.” Mr. Flurry explained that his warning about Putin’s Russia is founded on his understanding of Bible prophecy:

Ezekiel 38 is an especially important passage about Russia. … This whole chapter contains staggering understanding about the powerful Russian empire and its widely feared “prince.” … I strongly believe this “chief prince” is Vladimir Putin, and I have explained why many times over the past 20 years. The alarming and sobering scenes coming out of Ukraine today dramatically prove that this understanding is right. Bible prophecy is being fulfilled this very moment in Ukraine!
