Fox News Won’t Fight in Court, Pays Dominion $787 Million

Fox News and Dominion Voting Systems reached a $787.5 million settlement agreement on April 18, narrowly heading off a revealing defamation trial shortly after the jury was sworn in. Dominion ceo John Poulos told reporters that Fox has admitted to telling lies about how the 2020 election was stolen. Meanwhile, Dominion attorney Justin Nelson said he hopes this out-of-court settlement will restore people’s faith in elections.

Cowardly retreat: Despite Poulos’s statement, Fox News has not admitted to defaming Dominion by giving airtime to election analysts saying Dominion machines stole the 2020 presidential election from Donald Trump. Fox News simply paid Dominion $787.5 million so it would not have to go to court.

This was a cowardly retreat for Fox as the process of discovery was turning up evidence that Dominion did rig the election. One batch of documents revealed that the director of product strategy and security for Dominion Voting Systems, Eric Coomer, told other employees that their machines were “just riddled with bugs.” He also made other disparaging comments about the accuracy of the machines, saying that their failings were due to a “critical bug leading to incorrect results.” Other documents show that Dominion sales manager Mark Beckstrand admitted that other parties “have gotten a hold of [Dominion’s] equipment illicitly in the past.”

Bitter affliction: American attorney Sidney Powell and MyPillow ceo Mike Lindell have been trying for two years to get the courts to look at evidence that Dominion machines stole the election. This defamation lawsuit against Fox was America’s best chance to date to actually have this happen. But Fox News is controlled by “never Trump” Republicans like Rupert Murdoch, who do not want Dominion’s corruption exposed.

A prophecy in 2 Kings 14:26 states, “For the Lord saw that the affliction of Israel was very bitter; and whether bond or free, there was no helper for Israel” (New King James Version). This latest court settlement shows just how true this statement is. Donald Trump is the only one fighting to expose the stolen 2020 election.
