Dominion Lawsuit Discovery: Machines ‘Riddled With Bugs’

Dominion Voting Systems sued Fox News Network in 2021 for reporting on President Donald Trump’s statements about the 2020 election fraud. On Thursday, February 16, it made its filing public: Dominion is alleging willful defamation and is seeking $1.6 billion in damages, and for a court to rule in its favor without a trial.

However, Fox filed a counterclaim, also released on Thursday, saying Dominion is trying to suppress freedoms of the press and speech. The months-long process of discovery has revealed condemning e-mails, messages and sentiments from Dominion’s own employees.

  • Other parties “have gotten a hold of [Dominion’s] equipment illicitly in the past,” according to sales manager Mark Beckstrand.
  • Beckstrand acknowledged legitimately reported instances of Dominion machine security failures in North Carolina and Georgia, and he admitted that a Michigan machine was “hacked.”
  • “[O]ur products suck,” stated Dominion’s director of Product Strategy and Security Eric Coomer in 2019.
  • In 2020, Coomer admitted that “our [machines are] just riddled with bugs.”

“Almost all” of Dominion’s failings were due to a botched job “in installation” and a “critical bug leading to incorrect results,” Coomer admitted privately. “It does not get much worse than that.” Although other companies might address their failings, “we don’t address our weaknesses effectively!” he said.

For its part, Fox has denounced claims of election fraud more than supported them. Owner Rupert Murdoch has distanced himself from Donald Trump and Rudy Giuliani. Fox broadcasters mostly ignored the reports and claims of election fraud. Tucker Carlson is one of the few on Fox who didn’t, but even he was highly skeptical of lawyer Sidney Powell when he interviewed her.

But now Fox is responsible for unearthing revelations that warrant more investigation into the Dominion machines than ever before.

War against the machines: “People believed a red tsunami would shift power to Republicans,” wrote Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry in “Ready for War.” “But they must face the fact that until they get rid of the machines, they will never win many elections. They are so naive. As long as those machines are in place, the radical left will steal elections! …

“There is a war for control of America. At the heart of it are the voting machines. Either get rid of the machines or forget about winning!”
