The Department of Transportation Is in Crisis
On January 11, the Federal Aviation Administration (faa) suffered large-scale computer outages in the early hours of January 11. The system responsible for giving pilots vital flight information malfunctioned, and the faa had no choice but to ground all flights.
According to Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg, “Glitches and complications happen all the time.” But this was the first time that all flights in the United States have been grounded since 9/11.
This is just the latest in a series of failures by Secretary Buttigieg’s department in recent months.
- Broken supply chains caused product shortages nationwide last year.
- Thousands of flights were canceled at the end of 2022.
- Railroad strikes had to be averted by forcible acts of Congress in December.
The Biden administration has repeatedly demonstrated ineptitude over the last two years. But as Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry has pointed out, “This isn’t incompetence. This is treason!”
There is a concerted effort to destroy the U.S. from the intelligence agencies down to the Department of Transportation. To learn more, read our October 2021 Trumpet issue, “Chaos by Design.”
