The Dictionary Goes Woke
The Oxford English Dictionary added 18 words this year relating to gender identity, according to a December 26 report. The Cambridge Dictionary and the website Dictionary.com have also joined the movement to redefine gender. Here are some of the new definitions unveiled this year:
- Woman: An adult who lives and identifies as female even though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth
- Man: An adult who lives and identifies as male even though they may have been said to have a different sex at birth
- Brotherboy: A person registered as female at birth who identifies with or presents a masculine gender expression, typically through behaviors, occupations, modes of dress, etc, that are culturally associated with masculinity
- Multisexual: Characterized by sexual or romantic attraction to, or sexual activity with, people of different sexes or gender identities; (now) specifically having any of various sexual orientations of this type, such as bisexual, pansexual or polysexual
- Pangender: Designating a nonbinary person whose gender identity encompasses multiple genders, which may be experienced simultaneously or in a fluid, fluctuating manner; of or relating to a gender identity of this type.
Dictionary.com declared “woman” the word of the year, but said, “The dictionary is not the last word on what defines a woman. The word belongs to each and every woman—however they define themselves.”
The truth: The radical left has seized control of language. It has pressured even dictionaries to cater to delusion. It is literally redefining sex, science and reality. All this confusion is expressly aimed at drowning out truth.
