The Most Deadly Climate Change Deception

Analysts and experts have dangerously misdiagnosed the cause of devastating weather disasters.

A deceptive view about so-called “climate change” has taken hold of millions of minds in America and Britain. This ideology will negatively affect every single person who falls for it.

A former secretary of state in the United States recently blamed the increase in violent storms on climate change. I don’t want to discuss political views; my job is to give you God’s view. Our great Creator knows that climate change is not the cause of weather disasters!

“The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet” (Nahum 1:3). God has power over the storms. He controls where and how hard they strike. The former secretary of state believes the antithesis of this verse!

Read the rest of the Prophet Nahum’s account. Nahum explains how rampaging storms are related to the behavior of the people. That might seem a little strange to some, but think about the Flood of Noah’s day (Genesis 6-8). The waters covered even the peaks of the highest mountains, killing every human, animal and plant except for those preserved on Noah’s ark.

Talk about a killer storm! There was no physical evidence to predict its occurrence. “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith” (Hebrews 11:7). For 100 years, Noah warned of the coming Flood that would come as punishment for the rampant sins of the entire world.

“But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him” (verse 6). We need faith to escape the storms. The former secretary of state’s dogmatic statement about climate change destroys faith!

Do those who rave about climate change diligently seek God? No! It’s the total reverse—they leave God entirely out of the picture. God won’t be left out.

“He loads the thick cloud with moisture; the clouds scatter his lightning. They turn round and round by his guidance, to accomplish all that he commands them on the face of the habitable world. Whether for correction, or for his land, or for love, he causes it to happen” (Job 37:11-13; Revised Standard Version). One reason God sends storms is for correction. Could this be the reason for this summer’s massive flooding in Houston?

“And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered. So two or three cities wandered unto one city, to drink water; but they were not satisfied: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord” (Amos 4:7-8). God causes floods and droughts as punishment for pushing Him out of our lives.

“Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways” (Psalm 91:9-11). God rewards and protects those who put Him first. If everyone in America would look to God, the plagues would stop!

Blessings and Curses

The book of Daniel is for this end time (Daniel 12:4, 9). In it, the Prophet Daniel shows us where to look for the solution to weather disasters and other curses.

“Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him” (Daniel 9:11). “Israel” here refers primarily to America, Britain and the Jewish state. (Read The United States and Britain in Prophecy to understand the identity of biblical Israel.)

Israel is cursed for not obeying the law of Moses! Moses wrote the first five books of the Old Testament, known as the Pentateuch. Daniel refers us to the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy for answers. Genesis 48-49 prophesy what will happen to America and Britain in our day.

“As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth. Therefore hath the Lord watched upon the evil, and brought it upon us: for the Lord our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth: for we obeyed not his voice” (Daniel 9:13-14).

It is very clear that God punishes. This is contrary to the prevalent belief in traditional Christianity that God is all love and mercy but no judgment and correction.

A former U.S. president believes that rejecting climate change is the same as rejecting the future! That’s the exact opposite of God’s view! If we don’t adapt our view to God’s, we won’t have a future!

Who do you believe? God or puny men?

Leviticus 26 is known as the blessings and curses chapter. Read the entire chapter and apply each point to America. It is extremely accurate—more relevant today than ever!

“If ye walk in my statutes, and keep my commandments, and do them; Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit” (Leviticus 26:3-4). God provides temperate weather when we obey Him. This is how to avoid the extremes.

“And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people” (verse 12). What is better than being in the good graces of the Almighty God?

“But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant” (verses 14-15). God’s blessings hinge on our obedience. From here on, this chapter gives the bad news.

“… I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: … for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield her fruits” (verses 19-20). God curses the weather when we rebel! We will receive no rain. Our crops won’t grow. The damage and the death toll will mount.

“And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins” (verses 21). God will continue to ratchet up the weather disasters until we finally begin to listen to Him! He wants to give us every blessing imaginable, but first we must turn to Him in humble obedience.
