The Authority of the Bible

No other so-called sacred literature asserts that it is the divinely inspired writings of a supreme Deity like the Bible does. More than 40 writers over a period of 1,600 years were used to pen the Bible—yet its message from beginning to end is in complete harmony. Far from doing away with the teachings of the Old Testament, Jesus Christ and the First Century apostles confirmed the veracity of the Old Testament canon and established the text, along with their own inspired writings, as the divinely inspired and authoritative Word of God.
