Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has gained a huge amount of support this election season by promising to undo the policies of the Obama administration. But as we draw closer to the general election, Mr. Trump has embraced views typically espoused by Democrats. As columnist Charles Krauthammer recently put it, Trump is trying to “out-Democrat the Democrats.” On today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show, Stephen Flurry discusses this development and more.

President Barack Obama excoriated Donald Trump this week for praising Vladimir Putin. “And now their nominee is out there praising a guy, saying he’s a strong leader because he invades smaller countries, jails his opponents, controls the press, and drives his economy into a long recession,” the president said. Yet reaching out to—and even praising—tyrants who rule with a heavy hand has been standard practice for this administration over the past seven years. For more, listen to today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show, hosted by Stephen Flurry.

In his farewell address, George Washington said, “Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports.” The strength of America depends on the morals of its people. Shortly after President Bill Clinton’s impeachment trial in 1999, Heritage Foundation cofounder Paul Weyrich wrote that America’s culture had “decayed into something approaching barbarism.” What happens when the mainstream culture abandons right moral values? On today’s show, Stephen Flurry explains how America’s rejection of religion and morals is causing the nation to crumble.

Near the end of World War ii, America and Britain promised to keep the German war machine down. We are about to witness some electrifying prophecies come to pass in Europe at a lightning-fast pace! With Britain on the way out of the European Union, influential voices in Europe are calling for the EU to be dramatically restructured. In August 1950, Herbert W. Armstrong said that the world would be “stunned” and “dumbfounded” by how quickly a powerful “United States of Europe” would emerge on the scene. The Bible says the fulfillment of these prophecies immediately precedes the return of Jesus Christ. We must not be caught off guard, as much of the world will be, when these events begin to occur. Keep up with these important trends on the Trumpet Daily Radio Show.

Seventy years ago, when Germany was in rubble after World War ii, Herbert W. Armstrong boldly proclaimed that it would rise up to lead and dominate a European military power. Most people scoffed at that predication, but now it is happening. After decades of reliance on the United States and nato, the members of the European Union are pushing hard to form their own military force. For more about the latest developments on the European military project and where this will lead Europe, listen to today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show.

The European Union can move ahead with forming its own military force now that the project’s biggest protester is on its way out of the EU. “We have the political space today to do things that were not really doable in previous years,” the EU’s head of foreign affairs said with regard to the United Kingdom’s decision to leave the union. For decades it seemed a united European army would be impossible, but now it is one of the biggest talking points in post-Brexit Europe. More than 60 years ago, one man forecast this would happen. Find out more on today’s Trumpet Daily Radio Show.

On March 30, 1981, less than three months into his presidency, Ronald Reagan was shot. Throughout the incident, Reagan displayed qualities of a strong and collected leader. After his near-death experience, his sense of responsibility and mission was heightened—he believed that God had saved his life. In the midst of this episode he thanked God for many blessings. While in the hospital, he wrote in his diary, “I opened my eyes once to find Nancy there. I pray I’ll never face a day when she isn’t there. Of all the ways God has blessed me, giving her to me is the greatest and beyond anything I can ever hope to deserve.” On today’s show, listen to Stephen Flurry recount the details of this incredible story.
