Fatah’s Anti-Israel Agenda Further Exposed

The mountain of evidence showing that Fatah is anything but moderate grows.

Another snippet of evidence appeared late last week that discredits Fatah’s claim of being a moderate, West-friendly Palestinian political party that recognizes the existence of the Jewish state and seeks peace with Israel.

“Fatah is planning to mark its 43rd anniversary this year with a new poster that presents all of Israel as Palestine,” reported the Jerusalem Post. Designed by Abdel Mun’em Ibrahim, the poster features a map of Israel that is “entirely draped with a Palestinian keffiyeh scarf,” as well as a drawing of a rifle, a symbol of the armed struggle against Israel.

“The underlying message of the poster is that Fatah, like Hamas, does not recognize Israel’s existence,” reported the Post. The symbolism embodied by the map violates Fatah’s public policy, which envisions a separate Palestinian state existing alongside a separate and distinct Jewish state.

The poster has been endorsed by Fatah’s leadership and is already posted on multiple Fatah-affiliated websites.

According to most world leaders and the international media, Mahmoud Abbas and Fatah should be embraced as moderate, peace-loving, West-friendly Palestinians, who sincerely seek reconciliation with Israel. Just last week Abbas and Fatah were given in excess of $7 billion from the international community, including America, Britain, Saudi Arabia and numerous European states.
