The Women’s National Basketball Association is making headlines for all the wrong reasons, largely because its organizers aren’t actually sure what the “W” in wnba means.

To support the idea of “transgenderism,” top wnba players and league officials have indicated that men who think they are women would be welcome to play. Former nba player Enes Kanter Freedom put them to the test, posting on August 7:

After careful consideration and reviewing the current eligibility guidelines, I’m officially declaring myself a @wnba prospect. If simply declaring who you are is all that’s required, then I meet every single requirement necessary to compete in the wnba.

• Royce White, another former nba player, made a similar announcement the same day.

Kanter Freedom attended a wnba game in Chicago on Sunday, wearing a shirt displaying a dictionary definition: “Woman. noun. adult human female.”

• One of the female players began screaming at him from the court. He stood up and answered back and was immediately escorted out of the arena by security personnel, whom he said gave him no reason why they were ejecting him.

A league that can’t answer a first-grade question—what is a woman?—isn’t confused by accident. It’s confused because it has bought into years of thinking that the answer doesn’t matter. But it does, and nobody in its top offices can say so out loud.

The Bible is clear: “[M]ale and female created he them” (Genesis 1:27). Of all the attributes of the incredible new human creation that God could have emphasized, the very first is the distinction between the two complementary sexes, male and female.

• The Bible is filled with instruction on the beautiful roles God has given men and women and how we can thrive within those roles. It teaches how to make relations between us harmonious—how we can help one another, complement one another, and complete one another.

We are ignoring that instruction and doing the opposite—and not just at basketball games. The result? The wreckage is hard to overstate.

• Men and women compete with one another rather than work together. Families have fractured. Marriage rates have plummeted. Birthrates have plunged below replacement levels. Children are left to raise themselves. Young people are more vulnerable to predators. Society is destabilized.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge …” (Hosea 4:6). That verse was written for a nation that once knew God’s law and threw it away. The verse concludes: “[B]ecause thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee … seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.”

• What a devastating outcome. Having rejected God, we have been rejected by God—and the confusion will deepen until mankind allows the God who made us male and female to define the terms again.

SCOTUS Clears Path for Trump Mail-in Ballot Restrictions

Yesterday, the Supreme Court of the United States allowed the Trump administration to reduce the proliferation of mail-in ballots for the November midterm elections.

• The president’s executive order directs the Department of Homeland Security to compile citizenship lists and the United States Postal Service to deliver mail-in ballots only to voters who appear on these lists.
• U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani had stopped the order in 23 states and Washington, D.C. In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court removed that block. It said the lawsuit came too early because the states had not yet shown any real harm when they filed the case.
• It is still unclear whether the citizenship verification will take effect for the midterms since a separate nationwide injunction from another lawsuit remains in place.

Election fraud remains a major issue in American politics.

• 3,069,002: That was the total number of “possible illegal votes” tallied in the third volume of Dr. Peter Navarro’s 2021 study on electoral fraud in the swing states of Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin during the 2020 presidential election.
• 312,992: That was the official margin of victory for Joe Biden in these six states—a 10th of that total. Therefore, the margin of error was 10 times greater than the margin of victory in the 2020 election.

President Trump’s executive order is designed to ensure that only U.S. citizens vote in U.S. elections, a policy favored by large majorities of both conservative and liberal voters. Yet radical leftists hate this concept and have successfully opposed it for decades.

The one and only way that Americans control their government is through elections. If those elections are determined by anything other than citizens voting, Americans do not actually have a republic.

It is an open secret that Democrats stole the 2020 election from President Donald Trump. In America Under Attack, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry asserts that Trump was the actual winner of the 2020 election and explains how the Bible prophesied his return to power.

• This forecast was based on 2 Kings 14:26-28, which state that an end-time antitype of King Jeroboam ii would have to wage war to recover something of great importance that has been stolen from him.

U.S. Abandons South Korea in Military Exercises

The South Korean Marine Corps announced yesterday that the United States will not participate in next month’s “SsangYong” (“Twin Dragon”) joint amphibious exercise. The U.S. cited a strain on resources due to the war on Iran. South Korea was notified of this decision in June.

• The exercise, which has been held every other year since 2012, generally includes naval vessels, aircraft and more than 10,000 marines. It’s, in part, meant to show North Korea and China that the U.S. military backs South Korea.
• A spokesman for the South Korean Marine Corps, Han Seung-jeon, said that South Korea and the U.S. are in talks to eventually resume the exercise.

Yesterday’s announcement came eight days after President Trump announced the U.S. was significantly cutting back its participation in the late-August “Ulchi Freedom Shield” military exercises with South Korea.

These decisions obviously bow not to the will of South Korea, a key East Asian ally, but to the will of North Korea, a rogue dictatorial regime armed with nuclear weapons.

• In the social media post announcing the decision, President Trump said he had a “very good relationship” with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un, and stated that North Korea has been “unthreatening and respectful.”
• Days later, North Korea test-launched 10 ballistic missiles in a show of force and defiance.

America has also diverted substantial military assets away from East Asia.

• The USS George Washington aircraft carrier previously assigned to Asia has left that theater and arrived in the Middle East last week.
• This leaves South Korea without a U.S. carrier between it and North Korea, and, more importantly, North Korea’s powerful ally, Communist China.

This clear deference to America’s enemies shakes America’s alliances, not only with South Korea but with Japan and other nations who are watching and wondering what the U.S. will do if hostilities break out.

North Korea sends thousands more troops to aid Russia: North Korea’s regime has dispatched an additional 8,500 troops to Russia to back the invasion of Ukraine, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s Main Intelligence Directorate said on August 21. The contingent reportedly includes 400 drone operators and could bring the total number of North Koreans involved in the war to as many as 20,000. Biblical prophecy describes a vast Asian army that will emerge in the modern era under Russian leadership, which will include China and several smaller Asian nations such as North Korea. The North’s growing military partnership with Russia provides striking evidence of this prophesied alliance already in action.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed Iran tried to assassinate one of his sons, Israel’s Channel 14 reported on Monday. “This is an unbelievable case,” the prime minister said during a telephone interview. “Iran targeted one of my sons. Iran tried to murder him, tried to murder one of my sons.”

The United States removed Syria from its list of state sponsors of terrorism on Monday. U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said this was “taken in recognition of the positive actions taken and further commitments” of Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa to “fully distance Syria from acts of international terrorism.” Sharaa formerly engaged in acts of international terrorism, led al Qaeda’s Syrian branch, and retains connections to jihadism. A prophecy in Psalm 83 states that the U.S. is opening up to the new Syrian regime at its own peril.

A large, fast-moving wildfire is approaching Reno, Nevada. The fire began on Sunday, and almost 100,000 people have evacuated thus far. This follows recent wildfires in Washington, one of which torched parts of Spokane, and near Kelowna, British Columbia. It seems as if almost all of North America’s westernmost region is facing severe fires, including in areas with relatively large populations. Are these disasters more than “bad luck”?
