Scholz, Netanyahu Hold Joint Press Conference

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz held a joint press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem on Sunday.

The meeting came soon after United States Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer called for the end of Israel’s Netanyahu-led government. In light of America’s attempt to oust Netanyahu and other anti-Israel actions from Washington, the meeting shows that Germany is taking the U.S.’s place as Israel’s closest ally.

Support: In the press conference, Scholz reiterated Germany’s support for Israel in its self-defense against Hamas. Scholz also mentioned the need for “a hostage deal with a longer-lasting ceasefire” and said the Gaza death toll was “much too high.”

Main takeaway: The Bible prophesies that America will forsake its alliance with Israel, causing it to turn to Germany. Hamas’s attack on Israel has advanced this prophecy in many ways.

This coming Israel-German alliance will lead to the worst catastrophe in Israel’s history.
