Donald Trump Wins New Hampshire

Donald Trump won 54.5 percent of the vote in last night’s New Hampshire primary. His former ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, won 43.2 percent. This makes Trump the first non-incumbent to win both Republican presidential contests in Iowa and New Hampshire.

‘Over for a while’: Mike Dennehy, New Hampshire-based gop strategist, said Trump has “been beating all the candidates heavily among Republican voters. Really, the race for the Republican voters has been over for a while. It just became a question of driving independent voters out, and how much of a percentage the alternative candidate could get.”

Haley promised to remain in the campaign, insisting that the “race is far from over, there are dozens of states left to go.”

What the Trumpet says: Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry has said for years that Mr. Trump will return to the presidency. “One thing is for sure: God is going to bring Mr. Trump back,” he wrote. Read his article “Why I Still Believe Donald Trump Is Coming Back” to understand why.
