Russia May Try to Attack Europe Next Winter, Report Says

Russia may attempt to attack European nations in the winter of 2024–2025, a Bild report citing European intelligence said on December 23.

Russia could strike Europe right at the moment when the United States will find itself “without a leader,” the report said, referring to the transition period between the United States presidential election in November 2024 and the inauguration of the next U.S. president in January 2025.

Ramping up defense: Earlier last week, German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said the European defense industry is working to catch up on its capabilities amid threats from Russia. “Now we have about five to eight years to catch up—both in terms of the armed forces, industry, and society. … Putin is significantly increasing the production of weapons in Russia,” he warned.

Germany permanently stationed 5,000 troops in Lithuania last week to strengthen the region’s security against potential Russian aggression.

European unification: The war in Ukraine is forcing Europe to unite against a potential attack from Russia, especially as political turmoil in America makes it an unreliable ally. Bible prophecy reveals a unified, militaristic Europe will soon emerge and play a powerful role in world events.
