Growing Signs of Treachery in Israel

When Hamas breached Israel’s high-tech Gaza wall in the early hours of October 7 and proceeded on a murderous rampage, maiming, raping and butchering over 1,400 Jews and injuring another 3,300, the attack was framed in initial media reports as a “surprise attack.”

However, subsequent reports and other comments have brought this narrative into serious question.

Was the Hamas attack a tactical surprise or is something else afoot? While there isn’t one definitive piece of evidence, other evidence is mounting that the attack was not only meticulously planned and coordinated but also that elements within the Israeli intelligence community may have known about the attack before it happened—and kept that knowledge from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

If true, this was treason—betrayal and treachery against the Jews from within Israel’s own government.

In a now deleted post to X (formerly Twitter), Reuters reported that, according to Netanyahu:

At no time and no stage was a warning given to Prime Minister Netanyahu regarding war intentions of Hamas. On the contrary, all security officials, including the head of Army intelligence and the head of Shin Bet, estimated that Hamas was deterred and interested in an arrangement.

Israel’s security apparatus includes Mossad (foreign intelligence), Aman (military intelligence) and Shin Bet (domestic security). Evidence is mounting that each has turned against Netanyahu and his government, the duly-elected representatives of the people of Israel.

While Netanyahu subsequently apologized for his comments, his statements match growing evidence: The prime minister was blindsided by the attack—and possibly even betrayed by insiders.

War cabinet member Benny Gantz said Netanyahu should “let the matter go.” At the time, Gantz was the defense minister responsible for the construction of the Gaza border wall.

Is it possible a cabal of demon-possessed young men in T-shirts, jeans and tennis shoes, armed with grenades, guns and other weaponry, somehow planned and breached Israel’s highly sophisticated high-tech border wall with Gaza and foiled one of the most advanced militaries and spy apparatuses in the world?

Completed in December 2021, the 40-mile, smartfence “Iron Wall” includes hundreds of cameras, radar and other sensors. On the Gaza side are additional watchtowers with cameras and radars and a secondary fence. The Israeli side stands more than 20 feet tall and is reinforced with cement, iron and steel. It has watchtowers with cameras and a remote-controlled arms system with parallel redundancy systems in the event any one of its systems were to fail; these systems are tested multiple times a day.

A few days after the attack, on October 13, Trumpet Daily presenter Stephen Flurry interviewed Jewish journalist Caroline Glick. He asked her how Hamas could have breached Israel’s defenses, and how they could have roamed freely, indiscriminately murdering Jews for so long. Where was the Israel Defense Forces (idf)? Glick answered, “The entire senior echelon of the intelligence directorate were on vacation together” (emphasis added throughout). She also said that the Gaza border wall sensors used to help detect and neutralize terrorist invaders weren’t installed.

When questioned about how Hamas was able to breach the wall, United States Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn (Ret.) speculated that there may have been some kind of stand-down order given that allowed Hamas to do what they did. He said the Israeli southern zone commander, Yaron Finkleman, and Shin Bet head Ronen Bar should be arrested until an investigation can be completed.

Before the Hamas attack, Flynn had toured the border wall and gained extensive knowledge of its design and systems. He said:

There is no way in the world this was solely planned on the other side of the fence. Somebody inside the inner circle of this government had to be a part of this. That is the only way this level of surprise could be achieved. … You can’t get a cat through that security zone.

He called Hamas’s attack a strategic level of surprise.

One idf veteran with firsthand knowledge of Israeli military operations in Gaza explained:

Now, you can assume that the Shin Bet did not know about this attack. But that is highly improbable. The State of Israel is probably the most advanced surveillance state in the world.

The Gaza border is probably the most heavily surveilled. The Shin Bet who somehow knew about a guy who had [the coronavirus] in a toy store and tracked him all the way to a soccer stadium during the days of corona, somehow didn’t know about this massive attack planned by thousands of Gazans on pickup trucks and hang gliders?

Do you really believe that? …

Do you know how long it takes an attack helicopter to get activated and blow up any of those pickup trucks or hang gliders that invaded Israel? Less than five minutes. It all could have been over. Instead they had hours to kill thousands and bring back hostages alive, unopposed.

Haaretz reported on October 20 that in the lead-up to the attack most Israeli weapons along the Gaza border wall had been confiscated from key security details. The same idf veteran said the weapons confiscation program continued into September of this year—just before the Hamas attack.

The idf also dramatically scaled down its military presence around Gaza.

Haaretz reported:

The Israeli Army believed that the chance of a terrorist incursion after the erection of the border fence was “close to nil.” They removed forces from the area, leaving [now near weaponless] local security as the last line of defense. “As much as we banged on the table, it didn’t help,” says one local security coordinator.

Hamas could rampage and butcher women and infants for hours because all meaningful military and civilian security protection had been removed. And that decision had come down from military leadership just a few weeks before the attack.

Six days after the attack, the New York Times made this observation:

With meticulous planning and extraordinary awareness of Israels secrets and weaknesses, Hamas and its allies overwhelmed the length of Israel’s front with Gaza shortly after dawn, shocking a nation that has long taken the superiority of its military as an article of faith. …

Hamas planning documents, videos of the assault, and interviews with security officials show that the group had a surprisingly sophisticated understanding of how the Israeli military operated, where it stationed specific units, and even the time it would take for reinforcements to arrive.

How did Hamas come to possess this sensitive information?

Iran helped Hamas plan the attacks over a few months. According to a Times of Israel report this planning timeline matches a U.S. Pentagon effort to upgrade its cooperation Israel’s defense forces around Iran and its activities around Israel. This would have given it deeper insider knowledge of Israel’s plans around Hamas.

During this same time frame, Ynetnews reported that the U.S. National Security Agency had ramped up its signals communication spying on Israel—a supposed ally—penetrating communications at the highest levels of the government and security apparatus.

Did sensitive Israeli military operations and secrets get passed on to Iran?

Lee Smith wrote in a Tablet online titled “High-Level Iranian Spy Ring Busted in Washington” that former top aide to Barack Obama, and former top Iran envoy for Joe Biden, Robert Malley, and three members of his team have been accused of passing top security intelligence secrets to Tehran. Smith wrote:

The Biden administration’s now-suspended Iran envoy Robert Malley helped to fund, support and direct an Iranian intelligence operation designed to influence the United States and allied governments, according to a trove of purloined Iranian government e-mails.

Malley was the lead negotiator in Obama’s 2015 Iran nuclear deal. Placed on leave by the State Department this June, Malley also had his security clearance revoked. He is now under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He won’t be talking to anyone about what he did or what he knows, since the fbi investigation is “ongoing.” (This has been a convenient method for the fbi to tamper with or suppress relevant evidence and to memory-hole key witnesses.)

Smith continued:

… Malley had helped to infiltrate an Iranian agent of influence named Ariane Tabatabai into some of the most sensitive positions in the U.S. government—first at the State Department and now the Pentagon, where she has been serving as chief of staff for the assistant secretary of defense for special operations, Christopher Maier.

Tabatabai is directly connected to Iran’s Foreign Ministry. She had top security clearance at the State Department and America’s top defense headquarters. Did Malley or Tabatabai obtain Israeli military secrets from the U.S. government and pass them on to Iran?

In the lead-up to the October 7 attack, Netanyahu and his government had been trying to reform the judicial system, to put a check on judicial power. Major public protests had erupted over the issue. Analysts have observed that the public protests are part of a coordinated color revolution against the prime minister’s government—and led by the Obama-Biden White House.

Smith wrote in another Tablet article that “U.S. support for demonstrations in Tel Aviv isn’t about the future of Israel’s judiciary. It’s about handcuffing Israel while Iran gets the bomb.”

The fact that this blueprint is designed in Washington, D.C., gives courage and direction to the demonstrators acting out their color revolution fantasies on the ground in Tel Aviv. And it’s evidence that Bibi is in Washington’s crosshairs, for regime change has come to Israel.

Obama led a successful color revolution against Egypt’s Hosni Mubarak and installed the Iran-backed Muslim Brotherhood.

Lee continued:

A similar operation is now underway in Israel, where the Biden administration has departed from diplomatic protocol by repeatedly advertising its meetings with the political faction seeking to undo Israel’s newly elected right-wing government. More significantly, Biden’s State Department is now directly funding local activists organizing the protests. By publicly putting its prestige and money behind the coalition that lost the latest Israeli election, Washington is openly advertising its desire to bring down Netanyahu.

A leaked Pentagon document reported on April 9 by Fox News claimed Mossad not only encouraged protests against Netanyahu’s government but also encouraged its own agents to participate in the protests. Former Mossad chief Tamir Pardo recently claimed that Netanyahu’s government is being led by extremists and “horrible racist parties.”

Patrick Byrne also reported that Shikma Bressler—whom the New York Times described as the “face of the protests”—is married to a top operative within Shin Bet.

The Times of Israel reported there has been significant opposition to Prime Minister Netanyahu’s efforts coming from within Israel’s military.

Trumpet contributor Richard Palmer wrote in the November-December issue, “Hundreds of Israel Defense Forces reservists not only opposed certain reforms by the prime minister but in protest they refused to report for duty. Pilots refused to fly ….”

This Obama-led color revolution against Netanyahu’s government failed.

In America Under Attack, Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry explains how Obama retooled the United States’ security apparatus and turned it into a fourth branch of government, committing treason by turning its immense spy powers on domestic political enemies—like President Donald Trump, and his supporters.

Is the same playbook unfolding in Israel against Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government and supporters?

Mr. Flurry has emphasized Daniel 11:21, which says: “And in his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peaceably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries.”

This is talking about Antiochus Epiphanes, who was a type of three men who appear in this end time. Each, in his own way, sets the stage for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.

The word “flatteries” means slipperiness, blandishments; inducement to some sort of action by smooth, pleasing, talk; treachery and betrayal! Treachery and betrayal are an identifying sign of Antiochus. They work with anyone willing to collude with them on the inside.

For some time, Gerald Flurry has warned that Obama harbors a deep malice against the Jews. In America Under Attack, he explains the spiritual roots of Obama’s motivations and behavior.

“Any time a person like Antiochus is involved, it’s more than just Antiochus that you are dealing with. There is a God-hating evil spirit power at work,” he wrote in “What Inspires Barack Obama’s Relationship With Israel.” “God made a scepter promise to the Jews. They were also chosen to preserve the Old Testament and the sacred calendar—‘the oracles of God’ (Romans 3:1-2). This gets to the heart of why any Antiochus hates the Jews!”

Mr. Flurry has been warning for years that Israel cannot trust Barack Obama.

A biography on Netanyahu recounts how Barack Obama issued a veiled threat toward him. Toward the end of their first White House meeting in 2009, Obama told Netanyahu, “You know, people often read me wrong, but I come from Chicago. I know how to deal with tough rivals.” It has been reported that Obama then gestured as though he were slitting someone’s throat.

Anciently, Antiochus Epiphanes sent one of his generals to attack and slaughter the Jews on the Sabbath. There is a pattern in ancient and recent history of Jews being slaughtered on one of God’s holy days. It is a sign of the work of an Antiochus type.

In the long term, Israel will not come out of its war with Hamas stronger. With the decimation of Hamas leadership and infrastructure in Gaza, watch for Hamas to take over the West Bank. The West Bank will become a growing point of focus for Iran and for Hamas—as its march for East Jerusalem continues.
