China’s New ‘Nightmare’ Submarines

Beijing is deepening its nuclear submarine technologies. The United States Naval War College “China Maritime Report” says China is developing Type 095 nuclear-powered cruise missile submarines and Type 096 ballistic missile submarines. These will significantly strengthen China’s subaquatic fleet and, according to the report, “have profound implications for U.S. undersea security.”

The Type 096 may have a range greater than 6,000 miles, enough to reach the continental U.S. with a nuclear warhead from underwater. Such a weapon would be quiet and difficult to detect. It would tip the scales in China’s favor in the event of a naval war against U.S. forces in the South China Sea.

The Type 096s are going to be a nightmare. They are going to be very, very hard to detect.

Losing sea gates: The advances of China’s submarine fleet will hasten the loss of U.S. control over the South China Sea and its ports and sea gates. In the decades after World War ii, America dominated this region and kept it open to navigation.

The U.S. was warned it would lose its sea gates around the world. In The United States and Britain in Prophecy, Herbert W. Armstrong proved that Deuteronomy 28 refers mainly to the U.S. and Britain. Verse 52 prophesies that if these nations continue in sin, God will give their sea gates to their enemies.

China’s advancing submarine technologies are hastening the fulfillment of these Bible prophecies.
