China and Russia to Deepen Cooperation
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi stated on Sunday that China wants to deepen its cooperation with Russia, though he insisted that Beijing still maintains “impartiality” over the war on Ukraine. At the same time, he condemned America for its China policy.
Ukraine crisis: According to Wang, China has always promoted peace talks and solutions that would satisfy both sides of the Ukraine war.
With regard to the Ukraine crisis, we have consistently upheld the fundamental principles of objectivity and impartiality, without favoring one side or the other.

Strategic partnership: China does not see Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as an influencing factor to their relationship. Wang says China will continue to build a stronger relationship with Russia.
We will deepen strategic mutual trust and mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Russia, and cement China-Russia comprehensive strategic partnership of coordination.
“Bullying”: Wang criticized America’s China policy for singling out China as a major competitor and accused the United States of “suppression and provocation against China.”
We have firmly rejected the United States’ erroneous China policy …. In response, China has taken resolute actions to counter such power politics and bullying while pointing the right way forward through open and candid communication.
Wang also brought up the One China principle and said the U.S. was obligated to respect that Taiwan is part of China. According to Wang, America must “stop containing and suppressing China” and “stop undermining China’s sovereignty.”
China refuses to make such a statement about Russia with regards to Ukraine.
Prophecy says: Foreign Minister Wang’s statements are the latest sign that the China-Russia partnership is unshakable, despite the war, and that this tandem is bent on upending the global peace. This is a sobering reality, but it should come as no surprise to students of Bible prophecy. In 2017, the Trumpet wrote:
