Iran Votes to Execute 15,000 Protesters

Iran’s parliament voted, November 8, to put to death all those caught protesting against the regime.

The protests broke out after Mhsa Amini was allegedly beaten to death by Iran’s morality police, September 16.

The ayes have it: Nearly 4 in 5 lawmakers—227 out of parliament’s 290 members—voted for the penalty. Around 15,000 people have been arrested in connection with the protests according Carnegie Endowment’s Karim Sadjadpour. He said that over 300 protesters have already been killed.

Iran is not a democracy, and the vote will not necessarily be carried out.

Prophecy says: The Trumpet has long warned that Iran is the biblical king of the south, an aggressive power that will soon push, or strike, at Europe. Iran has long prepared for these kinds of protests and is prepared to put them down brutally. Watch for Tehran to go beyond striking down its own people and to push Iran’s brand of extremism abroad.
