• The European Union took more steps toward unification this week: EU finance ministers have agreed to the principles of a new EU budget, and defense and foreign ministers started 17 new European defense projects, including a shared school for spies.
• Russia and Japan are working to resolve an island dispute that goes back to World War ii—more evidence of the coming together of the biblically prophesied “kings of the east.”
• As America reimposes sanctions on Iran for its nuclear activities, some nations have refused to comply and plan to continue doing business with Iran. This week, despite all the resources America has devoted to it over the past 15 years, Iraq became one of them.
• We also talk about the Brexit question and Theresa May’s job security, a threat from Iran against American forces in the Middle East, Japan’s maintaining its military base in Djibouti, a spate of murders in London, and federal judges in America demonstrating blatant bias against the Trump administration.
