Speaker Trump

Kevin McCarthy was ousted from his position as speaker of the House earlier this week after eight Republicans voted in favor of a motion to vacate. Based on the Republican Party’s reaction to McCarthy’s ouster, you’d think America had suffered a massive terrorist attack. Republicans pounded lecturns, cursed and screamed about how McCarthy’s departure would plunge America into chaos and ruin the government’s ability to govern—as if things had been working just fine these past nine months. Apparently open borders and stolen elections aren’t enough to rile up the RINOs. Adding to the drama, some are now speculating that Donald Trump might throw his hat in the ring to be the next speaker!
