Brazilians are protesting the takeover of their democracy after their presidential election was rigged in favor of convicted felon-turned-Marxist President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva. As vice president, Biden did not have the authority to declassify these documents or move them to a private office. Although the documents were discovered a week before the 2022 elections, the DOJ has been keeping a lid on this story until now.
