A Pause in the Trump Presidency

00:30 FTX Fiasco (28 minutes)

More condemning details are coming out about the FTX cryptocurrency scam. Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of the shady company, was the second-largest donor to Joe Biden during the 2020 election and to Democrats in this year’s midterm elections. He used money invested in the company to fund Democrats, as well as to pay off news sources and cryptocurrency regulators. One $7 million transaction on the company’s balance sheet was simply labeled “TRUMPLOSE.” When the company filed for bankruptcy, billions of American investors’ dollars disappeared. Trumpet writer Richard Palmer explains this complex scandal in an interview on today’s program and in last night’s Trumpet Brief, ”FTX: Are America’s Democrats Behind the Scam of the Century?”

28:50 The Pause in the Trump Presidency (11 minutes)

Now that Republicans have won the House, the New York Times reports that Democrats are pouring money into “a multimillion-dollar counteroffensive” in preparation for investigations into the Biden administration. During his announcement on Tuesday night, President Donald Trump talked about the resistance he would face from this “tidal wave of dark money” and stated that the “pause” in his presidency exposes how much damage the Biden administration has done to the country.

40:00 A Man After God’s Heart (15 minutes)

In Acts 13:22, God calls King David “a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will.” David knew his relationship with God was his most important task in life. To develop a heart like God’s, we too must put God first in every aspect of our lives.
