Democrats across the board are admitting that the U.S. economy is caving. “We don’t have the economy on our side as Democrats,” said Donny Deutsch on MSNBC earlier this week. U.S. Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm blames America’s economic woes on Vladimir Putin, but as Sen. Josh Hawley noted during an energy hearing in the Senate, gas prices had been rising “long before Putin invaded Ukraine.” Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of the Interior is planning to prevent all future oil and gas leases in an effort to stop American drilling companies.
