Donald Trump fought against the completion of Russia’s Nord Stream II pipeline when he was in office. At the same time, Trump made the U.S. energy independent and kept oil prices low. Under Joe Biden, the pipeline sanctions were lifted and the U.S. is now energy dependent, thanks to Biden’s war against U.S. energy production. The Telegraph concluded, “The enemies of the free world see this period as a window of opportunity within which to undermine and erode American leadership before the possible return of a much more hard-line Republican administration.”
