The Olympic Games have often been viewed as a celebration of athletes to bring nations together around the world, but this year has been different. Politics and propaganda have played a huge role in this year’s Olympic Games. Chinese General Secretary Xi Jinping met with Russian President Vladimir Putin just hours before the games began, sending a strong message to America and the rest of the world that Russia and China are partnering to accomplish their political agendas. As we recently wrote at the Trumpet: “These Olympic Games are symbolic of a change in the order of world power, which the Bible prophesied would happen in this end time.”
