At the same time, those media outlets were writing that coronavirus was nothing to be alarmed about and how the common flu was a much bigger problem. The media didn’t just ignore coronavirus—it wrote about why it wasn’t a problem. Then earlier this week, Joe Scarborough on MSNBC criticized President Trump for not responding sooner and said, “Everybody saw this coming.”
