What You Should Know About the Declaration of Independence

How many Americans understand what they are celebrating on the Fourth of July? In 1926, President Calvin Coolidge said, “No one can examine this record and escape the conclusion that in the great outline of its principles the Declaration was the result of the religious teachings of the preceding period.” Many Americans today fail to recognize how much influence the Bible had on the Founding Fathers. On today’s radio show, I talk about how important the Bible was to the formation of America and why our society cannot survive without biblical morality.
