“Your program Friday on the homeless in Seattle was one of my favorite Trumpet Dailys! You mentioned about how the people living there suffer the most with high crime, drugs , & death. The other cities that are suffering also are San Francisco, L.A. and here in Philadelphia! These are dark times in America. After your program Friday, I watched the YouTube video “Seattle is dying.” Hard to believe this is America.”
Philadelphia
“Listening to just how bad it is in Seattle it seems all too familiar in Canada since we have legalized marijuana. My father and I were walking out of our local mall and there was a sign that said no smoking then one below that that said no vaping and the newest one says no smoking marijuana. We could only think about how sad it is that we need those signs because we know God doesn’t approve any of it and now our local mayor and premiere are trying to build what are called safe injection sites where people addicted to drugs can go and have a doctor or nurse help them to take those drugs ‘safely.’ It’s sad to see the way we are destroying ourselves.”

– “What a program, how very sad. I am from the Seattle area, and moved to Oklahoma about six years ago. I frequently tell people Seattle is my favorite big city, how gorgeous it is on a sunny day (which is rare, I know:) and the character of that city that I grew up around. How wonderful it was to go to the Pike Place Market and watch the Salmon throwing! and then enjoy the sunset overlooking Puget Sound, a breathtaking site. “I am glad I did not see what has happened to ‘my city,’ and I am shocked listening to the residents, police, and especially that arrogant homeless man who was interviewed. This is a broken city, and it is a great shame of America, I long so much for the world coming you described, what a glorious future we all have, but first we must endure these dark days. Keep up the great work, this program is the best daily program on the planet!”
Oklahoma
“I think the story about Benjamin Watson was a great, positive story to share with us. This world we live in is upside down and looking at it every day, everywhere we go, we see lawlessness, anti-family. Negative all the way. I think God brought this story to our attention to fill us with positive energy knowing that all negative wears on his people. Stories like these give us the fighting spirit we need to continue this fight for righteousness. Thanks very much for sharing this with us and may our God continue to give us stories like these to boost our morale.”

01:10 Historical Illiteracy (35 minutes)

More young people are attending college than ever before. But they’re not going there to learn history. Historical illiteracy is evident in all walks of American society. From the mainstream media to the college campus, from Hollywood to Washington, D.C., history has lost its place. Few people realize just how dangerous this trend is.

Biblical illiteracy is also rampant. House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi recently noted that while she quotes her favorite “verse” often, she can’t seem to find it in the Bible. She says it’s “supposed to be in Isaiah.”

She isn’t the only one who inserts human reasoning into the Holy Bible. Even in the world of traditional Christianity, if you asked 10 different scholars to interpret one biblical passage, you’d probably get 10 very different explanations.

37:10 America Embraces the Worst of Pagan Practices (18 minutes)

The Federalist posted an opinion piece this week titled “Infanticide Is the Historical Hallmark of a Pagan Culture.” The practice of “post-birth abortions,” also known as infanticide, has recently won support from some on the radical left. As the Federalist noted, this is not progress. It is descending into rank paganism. What was it that set the United States and Britain apart from these barbaric practices in the first place? And why are we now sliding toward barbarism?

A grueling, life-and-death, six-year copyright battle ensued in which the Worldwide Church of God and the Philadelphia Church of God went head to head over the beliefs outlined in Mystery of the Ages.
Relying on a wealth of official WCG documents and depositions submitted in federal courts, this book reveals the truth behind the shipwreck of the Worldwide Church of God.
