Trumpet Hour: What’s Wrong With Our Universities?

• America’s colleges and universities are increasingly becoming incubators of leftism. Students are being taught about the universality of white supremacy, racial injustice and other radical ideas. The fruits of this indoctrination are being exposed as terribly destructive. We look at several recent examples of students demanding curriculum changes to amplify racial grievances and erase whiteness. We look closely at events on The Evergreen State College, where students took over the campus and turned it into an asylum run by the inmates. This trend shows how civilization itself is under threat.
• The U.S. is sending an aircraft carrier group to the Persian Gulf to address threats from Iran. American media say the move is unnecessarily provocative. We look at the facts about who is doing the real provoking.
• And we talk about why disciplining our children often fails, and how to reduce the number of battles you’re having with your children.
