Britain Gripped by Immigrant Crime Tsunami

To say that Britain is in the grip of a foreign crime wave would be an understatement. It’s more than that—it’s a literal crime tsunami.

Shocking, newly-released statistics in Britain show that 91,234 foreign nationals were arrested for crimes that included rape, murder and burglary in 2010. This compares with 51,899 in 2008—nearly doubling in two years.

The figures were divulged in answers to Freedom of Information demands to the police, but as only 19 police forces responded to the request, the true number for all 52 forces could be more than twice as high.

Mike Fuller, ex-chief constable of Kent, warned that his force was struggling with an “immigrant crime wave,” which he said had contributed to a sharp increase in violent crime.

Extrapolating the numbers across all police forces in Britain, more than 750,000 foreigners have been arrested since 2008, according to the Daily Mail Online.

EU nationals are committing more than 500 offenses a week and, due to EU treaties, Britain is powerless to deport them. More than 54,000 EU citizens have been convicted of crimes (including murder) in the past two years in Britain, with Polish and Romanian migrants topping the crime tables.

However, while it certainly suits the politically correct British mainstream media to subtly suggest that most foreign criminals come from Eastern Europe, the newly revealed figures show a shocking increase in criminal activity in areas with long-established immigrant communities.

From the gun-wielding black gangs, the foreign drug smugglers and their wars, the people traffickers, the Asian heroin gangs, the pedophile grooming gangs, Asian “fake car crash” gangs, the London child mugging gangs, the driving test scams, the benefit fraudsters, the foreign squatters—including the traveler squatters, the British people are ensnared in a snake pit of foreign crime brought on by successive liberal politicians and judges who themselves enjoy police protection and can afford to live in areas unaffected by this criminal blight!

What is the solution?

The fact that Britain is shackled to the European Court of Human Rights makes deporting foreign criminals almost impossible. Thousands of foreign prisoners avoid deportation by claiming they will be mistreated (“tortured”) if returned home. The most popular new “human right” increasingly claimed is the “right to a family life,” which has become the number one excuse used by convicts to block their removal from Britain.

Conservative member of Parliament Dominic Raab commented: “It is one thing to argue against deporting an individual into the arms of a torturing state. But it makes a mockery of British justice to allow hundreds of criminals and suspected terrorists to claim family ties to defeat a deportation order.”

Mr. Raab may have had in mind the case of Aso Mohammed Ibrahim, an Iraqi Kurd who was awaiting deportation in 2003 when he ran over 12-year-old Amy Houston and, ignoring her screams, ran off and hid. At the end of his four-month sentence he was freed. This gave him time to marry and have children—giving him grounds to avoid deportation as it would interfere with his “right to a family life.”

Or perhaps he was thinking of Jamaican Andrew Rowe, who avoided deportation after being released from an 18-month sentence for an indecent assault on a 14-year-old girl. Allowed to stay in Britain, he went on to assault two more teenage girls before being locked up again.

Perhaps even of Dawood Khan, an illegal immigrant who should have been deported after being arrested in London in 2007. Instead he was released by the immigration authorities and went on to murder student Nazeer Ahmed in Bradford.

The list goes on. In Britain, these examples are typical daily reading in our newspapers. It was recently reported to MPs that up to 75,000 illegal immigrants are at large in Britain. According to immigration authorities, they are untraceable.

A recent Express editorial fumed: “Anyone would think this country had a chronic shortage of homegrown criminals such is the determination of the political establishment to import foreign ones. … These figures are a standing rebuke to the pro-immigration lobby, providing yet another challenge to its view that new arrivals always ‘enrich’ our society.”

Political commentator Ross Clark went even further: “We have turned ourselves into a magnet for foreign criminals by acquiring a reputation as a soft touch, where the rights of the offender take precedence over the rights of the victim and where offenders can rely on being treated more leniently than at home” (emphasis mine).

This certainly agrees with Bible teaching on the clear consequences of soft judgments. King Solomon wrote: “Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil” (Ecclesiastes 8:11).

But there are deeper reasons for the curse of rising immigrant crime that is afflicting the British people.
