Global wheat prices hit a three-year high on Thursday, with Chicago Board of Trade wheat futures contracts reaching $7.60 for ¾ of a bushel due to renewed conflict between Russia and Ukraine in the Black Sea, disrupting the global wheat trade. Before 2022, both countries were among the world’s biggest wheat exporters.
