Philippines earthquake kills dozens

At least 37 people died and 134 were injured after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of Mindanao Island in the Philippines yesterday. The shock destroyed several buildings and triggered landslides, displacing more than 10,000 families. More than 125 aftershocks were recorded with magnitudes up to 6.7.
