Cesar Chavez Exposed
Cesar Chavez Exposed
Happy Friday!
Leftist icon Cesar Chavez was exposed and discredited on Wednesday in a bombshell, years-long New York Times investigation. Extensive evidence shows that, for years, Chavez repeatedly groomed and sexually abused girls and women inside the civil rights movement he built.
Chavez has long been considered a folk hero. He personified resistance to corporate exploitation of immigrant labor, grassroots empowerment and racial and environmental justice. His name graces schools, streets, parks and state holidays across California and beyond.
Think of it: Chavez’s criminal lechery was hidden from the public throughout his life and in the three decades since his death in 1993.
The details make clear that those around him knew. Some involved admitted that even if the allegations were true, they didn’t want to endanger their activism. Image is everything.
Two accusers, Ana Murguia and Debra Rojas—both now age 66—detailed to the New York Times years of Chavez’s predation beginning in the 1970s when they were preteens, daughters of longtime United Farm Workers organizers. Murguia said Chavez started molesting her at age 13, with dozens of sexual encounters continuing until she turned 17. Rojas first became his victim when she was 12.
Dolores Huerta, who cofounded the ufw and is now 95, has revealed that Chavez raped her once and pressured her into sex one other time, fathering two of her children. She kept it quiet so as not to hurt the movement and gave the babies to others to raise.
Such disgusting revelations are so common in our sick world. Leaders and luminaries in politics and media, influential businessmen, educators, even religious leaders—not just on the left but even in conservative circles—breezily traffic in immorality while presenting an honorable public face. Chavez’s entire persona was to help the oppressed. And so often, the people around them are running cover and enabling their sin. With a figure like Chavez, the left’s dominance in culture and media can shield these activities to gross extremes.
We are all sinners and must always strive to close the gap between what we profess and what we do, living lives of sincerity and truth. That can only happen if sins are exposed, confronted, punished, expunged. When they are ignored, they metastasize.
God promises that in the end, all will be exposed (e.g. Ecclesiastes 12:14; Luke 12:2). That is the first step in His plan to cleanse the world of the sin that enslaves us.
Denmark Prepared to Resist the U.S.
A new report shows that back in January, as Donald Trump threatened to annex Greenland by force to protect U.S. national security, Denmark made preparations to defend the territory. Yesterday’s report from Danish broadcaster DR cited sources within the Danish government as well as authorities and intelligence services in Denmark, France and Germany.
- Danish, French, German, Norwegian and Swedish military personnel landed in Greenland in mid-January. A German reconnaissance team arrived on January 16, officially to assess conditions for future nato exercises but clearly also to rebuff the U.S.
DR now reports that the Danish soldiers were also transporting explosives to potentially destroy infrastructure and complicate any U.S. invasion. They also reportedly brought blood banks to treat wounded people in case of a conflict.
- The main goal, according to DR, was to deter the U.S. by uniting as many different flags as possible in a military operation in Greenland.
“We have not been in such a situation since April 1940,” said one Danish defense source, referring to the Nazi occupation of Denmark during World War ii. Many Europeans today characterize Donald Trump as a new Adolf Hitler and Europe as the new defender of the free world.
“With the Greenland crisis, Europe realized once and for all that we need to be able to take care of our own security,” an unnamed top French official told DR.
President Trump initially threatened to impose tariffs on the involved countries, who in turn threatened retaliatory economic measures, which appear to have been the reason the president backed down.
As explained in “Atlantic Rift,” the Trumpet and its predecessor, the Plain Truth, have long expected a break between the U.S. and Europe. The March 1974 Plain Truth wrote:
European antagonism toward the United States and its policies is now in the open. The next few years will bring forth more misunderstanding, conflicts of interest and, at times, outright hostility between the United States and Europe. Europe—including West Germany—will have to build its own unified armed forces, including nuclear weapons. Religious as well as political forces will play a key role in the future.

Kent Doubles Down on Anti-Semitic Conspiracy Theories
Within 24 hours of resigning as director of the National Counterterrorism Center on March 17, Joe Kent appeared on Tucker Carlson’s podcast to discuss America’s war with Iran. In his resignation letter and interview, he brought up two anti-Israel conspiracy theories, the first of which is clearly false, and the second is disingenuous and designed to fit an agenda.
- Kent’s resignation letter alleged that the Trump administration had no intelligence indicating an imminent threat to the United States from Iran and no evidence that Iran was actively developing a nuclear weapon. He said the U.S. was drawn into the conflict due to pressure from Israel and its American supporters.
In reality, Iran is the world’s largest state-sponsor of terrorism, considers its violent Islamic Revolution to be ongoing, and has called for the destruction of “the little Satan” and “the great Satan,” Israel and the United States. It has slaughtered more than 1,000 American citizens since 1979, mostly via proxies like Hezbollah, the Houthis and Iraqi militias. It has amassed enough enriched uranium, by its own admission, to build 11 nuclear bombs. - Kent also alluded to conspiracy theories surrounding the 2025 assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, suggesting that he could have been murdered due to his opposition to a potential regime-change war in Iran and criticism of certain U.S.-Israel ties. Describing Kirk’s death as a “data point,” he said questions about it were being ignored, implying possible involvement by pro-Israel forces to advance the push for war.
Though Kirk criticized the idea of a large-scale U.S. war with Iran, he was also an outspoken supporter of Israel. Additionally, there is no evidence that his murderer, Tyler Robinson, an antifa-aligned radical, had any connection to Israel. This bizarre conspiracy theory, largely promoted by podcaster Candace Owens, is ultimately aimed at breaking the 77-year alliance between the U.S. and Israel.
Kent was reportedly sidelined from sensitive intelligence and was under investigation by the fbi before his resignation for potentially disclosing classified information.
In his 2020 article “The Barack Obama Mystery,” Trumpet editor in chief Gerald Flurry exposed how President Barack Obama sought to realign America’s interests with Iran’s because he wanted the mullahs to develop a nuclear weapon and “wipe Israel off the map.” Mr. Flurry has also explained that God raised up President Trump to stop Obama from blotting “out the name of Israel from under heaven.”
Joe Kent and Candace Owens are not radical leftists like Barack Obama. Yet their attacks on the Jewish state are also part of Satan’s plan to “blot out the name of Israel.”
IN OTHER NEWS
Can American escalation reopen Hormuz? Yesterday, Gen. Dan Caine, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the U.S. had expanded its operations against Iran’s ability to conduct terrorist strikes on civilian ships in the Strait of Hormuz, using low-flying warplanes and Apache attack helicopters for more precise strikes. “We continue to hunt and destroy naval assets, including over 120 vessels and 44 minelayers,” General Caine told reporters. The U.S. is also reportedly deploying two light aircraft carriers with roughly 4,400 marines to the area to reinforce the large carrier strike group already in place and to escalate the effort to reopen the trade route. However, a Bible prophecy in Daniel 11:40 indicates that the U.S. will soon pull out of the conflict and Europe will be drawn into it.
Iran increases attacks on Gulf oil infrastructure: Iran struck a Saudi oil refinery and launched eight ballistic missiles toward the capital, Riyadh, yesterday, while several regional diplomats were visiting. This came a day after its major attack on Qatar’s massive Ras Laffan natural gas facilities, which was largely intercepted and yet succeeded in causing damage that the Qataris say will take five years to repair. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan al-Saud said that if Iran continues to target economic resources, “we have reserved the right to take military actions if deemed necessary.” With each passing day, Iran’s ability and willingness to use military-scale weapons on civilian energy infrastructure and shipping in nonbelligerent countries becomes an increasingly crucial factor.
Did America use its German air base to strike Iran? Majid Nili, Iran’s ambassador to Germany, wants Germany to clarify whether America used Ramstein Air Base in Germany for strikes against Iran, Agence France-Presse reported on Thursday. The ambassador claims use of the base against Iran violates United Nations Resolution 3314, but German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius rejects that claim. Nili also called on Germany to ask America to end its strikes. Germany is no ally of Iran, and according to Bible prophecy it will soon come against Iran “like a whirlwind” and destroy Iran-led radical Islam.
Japan and U.S. strengthen alliance, for now: Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi’s White House visit yesterday became a higher-stakes situation after the U.S. attack on Iran and calls on Japan and other allies to help protect the Strait of Hormuz. Those nations initially declined, but shortly before the meeting, Japan signed a joint statement with Britain, France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands pledging to “contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the strait.” Between this decision, Takaichi’s warm demeanor and words toward President Trump, and Japan moving forward with a $550 billion deal for crude oil, natural gas and nuclear energy, the visit further tightened U.S.-Japan relations. However, the Trumpet forecasts that this alliance will ultimately fracture, with Japan pivoting toward China and away from the United States.
Trump considers lifting sanctions on some Iranian oil: United States Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said yesterday the government may suspend sanctions on Iranian oil already at sea to lower global energy prices. He told Fox Business: “In essence, we will be using the Iranian barrels against the Iranians to keep the price down for the next 10 or 14 days, as we continue this campaign.” President Donald Trump has already approved similar action for Russian oil at sea. How long President Trump continues the war despite the serious and ongoing global energy supply disruption remains to be seen.
Pentagon requests billions more: The Pentagon wants extra money to fund the Iran war, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated yesterday. Although he didn’t specify how much his department was requesting, the Washington Post reported it could be as much as $200 billion. “It takes money to kill bad guys,” Hegseth said, adding that he wanted funding for “what’s been done” and what might be done. In just the first six days of the Iran war, the U.S. spent roughly $11 billion on strikes. Meanwhile, the national debt is increasing by $7 billion per day. Not only does more war mean more debt, but it also means spending money in vain because America has won its last war.
U.S. debt exceeds $39 trillion: On Wednesday, the national debt surpassed $39 trillion, according to U.S. Treasury data. It had reached $38 trillion only five months prior. At the current pace of increase (roughly $7 billion per day), the debt could exceed $40 trillion within the next year. The federal government is spending 18 to 20 percent of total federal revenues on net interest payments for the debt, putting it perhaps one bond crisis away from financial calamity.
