German police under attack

Police in Germany are under attack, largely by foreigners. In 2024, the German Federal Criminal Police Office recorded 46,357 acts of violence affecting 106,875 police officers, the German Interior Ministry reported today. This represents a 67.2 percent increase in the number of officers affected compared to 2015, a year that coincided with a large influx of refugees into Germany. Foreigners make up around 15 percent of the total population and 34.9 percent of the perpetrators. About 87 percent of the cases involved acts of resistance or physical attacks. According to the statistics, violence also includes threats, coercion and intentional bodily harm. The refugee crisis continues to radically transform Germany.
