Muslim Brotherhood stole half a billion dollars from Hamas

The Muslim Brotherhood stole half a billion dollars from Hamas, according to Egyptian and Palestinian media. Waqf al-Ummah, a Muslim Brotherhood-connected charity in Turkey, allegedly diverted to itself about $500 million in donations that were supposed to go to Gaza. Hamas member Khaled Mansour, who has been documenting this situation on social media, wrote on November 16 that it is “the biggest theft scandal in the history of the Islamic movement of the funds of the people of Gaza.” The Muslim Brotherhood is the Islamist organization that, among other things, tried to take over Egypt in 2011.
