Canada May Join EU, Says EU Foreign Policy Chief
Despite being located in North America, Canada could potentially join the European Union because it shares an Arctic border with Europe. That is according to EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas, who spoke with Bloomberg News on the sidelines of the nato summit in The Hague on June 25.
You know, I got this question that Canada wants to join the European Union. Of course, you know, we have all the friends in the world, which is good. I also said that maybe a bit obstacle is that they are not geographically in Europe, and they had an answer to this—Arctic. We are connected via Arctic, so who knows?

Defense pact: Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney clarified that his nation is not looking to become an official EU member. Rather, he wants a close defense alliance with the EU.
Before promising to allot 5 percent of Canada’s gross domestic product to defense by 2035, Carney officially joined the ReArm Europe initiative. This program, limited to EU countries and close allies, opens up loans to buy weapons.
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen noted that the partnership would strengthen Canada’s role in Europe’s evolving defense architecture.
Prophesied betrayal: Herbert W. Armstrong explained in his book The United States and Britain in Prophecy that the U.S. and Britain are descended from the ancient Israelite tribes of Manasseh and Ephraim. He also explained that the French descended from Reuben and the Irish descended from Dan. Bible prophecy indicates that Reuben and Dan will betray Manasseh and Ephraim (Genesis 37; 49:17).
Canada has close ties to France because of its French-Canadian population, and Carney wants to reduce Canada’s reliance on the U.S. by becoming more reliant on Europe. This shift could be setting the stage for a huge betrayal.
