China Shifting Trade Away From U.S. Toward EU and Asia
In the midst of its trade war with the United States, China has increased exports to European and Asian nations, according to a Global Trade Research Initiative report published Tuesday.
- China’s exports to the U.S. dropped steeply by 34.5 percent, from $44 billion in May 2024 to $28.8 billion in May 2025.
- Over the same period, Chinese exports to the European Union rose by 12 percent to $49.5 billion.
- Exports to Southeast Asian nations rose by 15 percent to $58.4 billion.
- Exports to India increased by 12.4 percent, reaching $11.1 billion.
Realigning: Increased trade with Europe and Asia more than offsets the loss in sales to America. China’s overall exports increased 4.6 percent from $302.1 billion to $316.2 billion during the same period.
These statistics show that China’s export-dependent economy is not suffering as much from U.S. tariffs as many in the Trump administration expected. China is realigning.
Trade alliance: The Bible prophesies of a coming trade alliance that will block out the U.S. from global trade. This union will include China, neighboring Asian nations and numerous European states.
Unless the American people wake up to this imminent threat and turn to God, this anti-American alliance will wreak terrible devastation on the nation that God has so richly blessed.
