Is America Preparing to Attack Iran?, G-7 Disagreement, Britain’s ‘Grooming Scandal’
Iran rightly dominates Middle Eastern news. But our main story today looks at another critical development: Russia is pulling out of Mali. Soon, North Africa will be a critical battleground for Europe and Iran. Iran’s defeats in Lebanon and Syria are paving the way for it to refocus on that region—and Europe will have to step in or be flooded by refugees. Mihailo Zekic has more.
Is America preparing to attack Iran? U.S. President Donald Trump left the G-7 summit early yesterday, telling the media, “As soon as I leave here, we’re going to be doing something. But I have to leave here.” He also warned that “everyone should immediately evacuate Tehran.” The U.S. military moved refueling aircraft to Europe, and the uss Nimitz headed toward the Middle East.
President Trump told journalists aboard Air Force One, “I’m not asking for a ceasefire; we’re looking at better than a ceasefire.” He said he wanted “an end, a real end, not a ceasefire” and a “complete give-up” from Iran. He also said he was “not too much in the mood to negotiate now.”
Meanwhile, Israel struck the headquarters of Iran’s state broadcaster yesterday, interrupting a live broadcast. This morning, Israel also assassinated Gen. Ali Shademani, Iran’s recently appointed military chief of staff. Iran also appears to have been hit by a cyberattack, with banking services and atms offline, and government officials have been warned not to use network devices.
So far, at least 24 Israelis have been killed in the strikes and hundreds wounded. One of the dead is a 10-year-old child. This morning, 10 were mildly injured while running to shelters after Iran sent a missile barrage centered around the Tel Aviv area.
America entering the war would be a massive pivot point in the conflict. It could mean American and Iranian troops exchanging fire in a Middle East-wide conflict. It could also mean Iran’s nuclear program gets irreparably destroyed. Contrarily, America pulling back could force Israel to the negotiating table without finishing the job. Whatever direction events take, the Trumpet expects Iran to stay intact as a world power and remain arguably the world’s biggest disrupter nation. Request a free copy of The King of the South to learn why.
The G-7 showcased America’s disagreement with the rest of the world once again. “The president spent much of the meeting in a minority of one,” noted the Telegraph, adding that the event was more of a “G6+1.” President Trump refused to sign a joint statement on the Israel-Iran war and disagreed with his European colleagues on Russian sanctions.
Most writing on this subject do so with the perspective that President Trump’s “minority of one” means he is wrong. I disagree. I’m glad he refused to sign the joint statement—its initial wording made Israel and Iran sound equally at fault. Thanks to Trump standing up, the final version makes clear that Iran is “the principal source of regional instability and terror” and that the G-7 nations “affirm that Israel has a right to defend itself.”
One country that used the G-7 to draw closer to America was the UK, with the two signing a new trade deal, subjecting Britain to lower tariffs than much of the rest of the world.
But it is still important to note that America stands alone—and that Europe, and even Canada, is not on the same page. “Many elite Germans feel their nation has now gotten all it can from the U.S. and they are ready to move on. Some powerful Germans today are thinking more and more about the Holy Roman Empire, and they want modern Germany to assume more power of its own in the spirit of that empire,” wrote Mr. Flurry during President Trump’s first term in office. “They want to establish Europe as a mighty, German-led superpower.” Meetings like the G-7 make it clear this Holy Roman Empire is rising and has split from America.
Unpleasant truths exposed in Britain: A report into “Asian grooming gangs” in Britain was published yesterday. This “grooming scandal” completely obliterates many of the foundational beliefs of the modern elite. So despite repeated exposures, they cannot accept it nor act on it.
Even the term “Asian grooming gangs” is a deliberate lie. It makes the problem as general as possible, attributing it to the inhabitants of the earth’s largest and most populous continent.
The truth is more specific and more disturbing: Muslim men, mostly of Pakistani or Bangladeshi origin, have been raping British children en masse. It was exposed by Andrew Norfolk of the Times almost 15 years ago. In 2014, it was exposed again in the Jay Report into Rotherham. “One young person told us that ‘gang rape’ was a usual part of growing up in the area of Rotherham in which she lived,” stated that report. The next year it was exposed in a Panorama documentary. It was dramatized in the 2017 bbc documentary Three Girls.
Every time the problem was shown to be more widespread than we realized. And every time it was swept under the rug. Local authorities and police covered it up “for fear of being thought racist,” the Jay Report said. Even once it was exposed, the cover-up continued. In 2020, the Home Office “debunked” the idea of a Muslim rape crisis—stating as fact that no particular ethnicity was overrepresented in rape statistics. But the Home Office lied. Or as the report by Baroness Casey of Blackstock published yesterday states, that conclusion “does not seem to be evidenced in research or data.”
This has been a serious, known problem for over a decade, yet the report stated, “We found that the ethnicity of perpetrators is shied away from and is still not recorded for two thirds of perpetrators, so we are unable to provide any accurate assessment from the nationally collected data.”
“Questions about ethnicity have been asked but dodged for years,” it states. “Child sexual exploitation is horrendous whoever commits it, but there have been enough convictions across the country of groups of men from Asian ethnic backgrounds to have warranted closer examination. Instead of examination, we have seen obfuscation.”
Early this year, Prime Minister Starmer accused those pushing for an investigation of “spreading lies and misinformation” and “amplifying what the far-right is saying.” But now that the Casey report is out, he has been forced into a nationwide statutory investigation. But when it’s finished, will anything change?
Another tragic story illustrates a truth even more taboo. Yesterday, Jamie Varley was charged with sexually assaulting and then murdering a 13-month-old he and his same-sex partner were in the process of adopting. The exact charges paint a horrific picture, which I won’t detail here, but you can read the bbc report.
This is just the latest in a series of shocking attacks on children by same-sex couples. Here the statistics are clear, though hard to find because no modern university will allow a study into them. Homosexual men make up around 3 percent of the population but commit 30 to 40 percent of all sex crimes against children. I covered this story in much greater detail here.
Whether it’s “Asian grooming gangs” or same-sex relationships, we believe in tolerance, multiculturalism and the lgbt movement so much that we’ll close our eyes to the most horrific abuse of the most vulnerable members of society. No wonder God is wrathful toward our modern societies. This is why evil nations like Iran will remain a threat. It’s why God is allowing the Holy Roman Empire to rise up. If we won’t protect our children, He will—He will use these powers to correct Britain and America to get them to repent of their sins and produce a safe world in which to raise children.

China is using control over rare earth minerals to bring smaller countries into its orbit, the Diplomat reported Friday. Countries that side with China get better access to these metals that are crucial to almost all modern electronics. Our In Brief has more.
The world is entering a dangerous new nuclear age, the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute concluded in its annual yearbook. Since the end of the Cold War, nuclear stockpiles have been shrinking, but that is quickly changing. China has at least 600 warheads and is rapidly expanding. India probably expanded its arsenal last year, while Pakistan is improving its ability to make nuclear weapons. Modern technology is also changing nuclear warfare. “The coming nuclear arms race is going to be as much about AI, cyberspace and outer space as it is about missiles in bunkers or on submarines or bombs on aircrafts,” states the report. “It’s going to be as much about the software as about the hardware.” See Mr. Flurry’s article “Nuclear Proliferation: Will Humanity Survive?” for more on this deadly trend.
If you had Spotify helping Germany develop AI drones on your bingo card for today’s news—well done! Spotify founder Daniel Ek led a €600 million investment into the German defense start-up Helsing. The start-up is now valued at €12 billion and is one of Europe’s most valuable private companies. Helsing takes huge amounts of data from military systems and uses them to train AI models. It’s also working to develop its own drones, both for the air and underwater. Read Mr. Flurry’s article “The Unknown Future of Artificial Intelligence” to learn where this could lead.
In more positive news, HMS Endeavor, the ship of Captain James Cook’s first discovery voyage, has been discovered. Research has shown that an already known shipwreck off Rhode Island is one of the most famous ships in history. Cook was the first person to circumnavigate New Zealand and explore Australia’s east coast. Books about great explorers are some of my favorites to read. Abraham Blondeau articulates part of the reason why in his article on another great explorer, Ernest Shackleton: “God has a vision and goal for you that can make you nobler, more selfless and driven by a spirit of adventure. God wants to achieve the impossible in your life, transforming you from a flesh-and-blood human being into a spiritual son in the God Family. It is a journey with trials and tests, a journey where you will need endurance, and it is the only path to your ultimate potential.”
